Ultimate Edition Question

I know that the UE dvd's have been remastered along with more bonus material. My question is, is there a BIG difference from the prior dvd's? I have several of the Special Edition dvd's and have no fault with them but was wondering if there is a vast difference in quality?

I would recommend getting it, unless you are on a tight budget.
"Better make that two."
1) Are all the Bond films available in the Ultimate format? All I've seen so far are 2 volumes.
WHA.........????
How do they break up the remaining films? What's in what set?
if it's the same as the US versions Volume 3 has From Russia With Love, On Her Majestys Secret Service, Live And Let Die, For Your Eyes Only and Goldeneye
Vloume 4 has Dr. No, You Only Live Twice, Moonraker, Octopussy and Tomorroe Never Dies
Hope that helps.
"Well, we're done Volumes 1 through 3 -uh-oh, all the crap movies are left. I know, let's stick the very first Bond into the mix with them, so people feel better about having to buy these:)) leftovers."
That's not far from the truth. Not exactly a stellar line up.
That's what I did. The only real dog in the bunch is "Live and Let Die" IMO. I've only watched FRWL so far and there is a HUGE difference with the past issue. It looks like it could have been filmed last week. And the extras are really cool as well, including a rather lengthy CBC interview with Fleming about Bond; a CBC radio program in which Fleming and his pal Raymond Chandler interview each other and discuss each other's work -- very engaging. I'd never heard Chandler speak before: he really is about as far from Philip Marlowe as you can get. There's also a very good documentary on the making of the movie. A rather troubled production, but for all the woes, the film is still, IMO, the quintessential "literary" Bond film. I think most people would say it's one of the best. I certainly do.
I'm anxious to see FYEO again, given that people tell me it's a more stripped down Bond (it's been so long since I've seen it, I forget) and I hope to get a new appreciation for Roger Moore. And of course, there's Goldeneye, which I'll have to watch again as well. By the time Brosnan took over the role I had tired a bit of Bond, so I didn't pay as much attention to his films as some of the others.
And of course OHMSS. I'm especially interested to see the extras on that one.
Any, I think you'll enjoy No. 3
Box set number 3 is great!! FRWL and OHMSS were way better than I had remembered. Unfortunately, FYEO was not as good as I remembered. Although, Milina Havlok (sp?) is still one of the more beautiful Bond girl characters IMHO.
Is it simply all of the Moore Bond films?
Besides the film boxsets, what are the actor boxsets?
Not sure if these boxsets contain any other extras (information on the actors) or are just boxed differently.
The order would be FRWL, then GF, then TB. Then YOLT, OHMSS, then DAF ... For Connery movies (except OHMSS, of course)that is.
Many thanks highhopes. I think FRWL will be watched Wednesday after work.
