NOT. lets get serious:
It seems awesome indeed, but i don't quite like it in the front (i prefer the Aston's "grill" rather the Jag's one). and it looks more like a sedan than a Coupe (is not an obligation for Bond to have a Coupe)
But this Jag, as the Aston before and even the Bentley says one thing: Luxury. So it may have some Vaccines in some part.
But for Craig, i'm not so ready to have a Q car.
Equally distressing, to me, is the notion that the marriage between Eon and Ford has become so sacrosanct that the new owner of Aston Martin would be impossible to approach...
...Then again, perhaps it's time for Bond to not have a car for a movie, and simply commandeer one (and drive it masterfully, like the Mustang Mach I, Citroen, AMC, et al.)...
I'd still like to see the DB5 make a cameo as his 'personal' vehicle
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
10 bucks says he'll give the managing position to a game show host. He did that for the TV network that he owns.
They could just have no car for Bond 22! Maybe give the villian a Jag or something.
About the DB5, well, is Bond's car after all, he won it and i don't think the contract says that it can't appear.
Besides Aston's "bond" with 007 won't finish over here, All Bond's (except Moore) had an Aston.
When I read this my stomach turned.
The a few of the recent jaguars have looked nothing short of cheap Aston Martin knock off's. Especially the XK series.
But this is different, there is something inherently Aston about it but it doesn't look like a clone. I like it.
However, I would prefer Bond in an Aston or something a bit more 'British'.
I don't have so much of a problem with Bond driving a Jag - at least it's an English brand. He's driven so many types of cars it doesn't really matter - the Aston Martins are sometime just used for the sake of it.
Bloody commercialisation! X-(
what would Q think ?????
