    The wallet came from:
    http://www.securityandsafetysupply.com/products-duty-gear/badgeholder-6.html

It is the Perfect Fit Double ID Case 503.

I am sure you can find them elsewhere, but this is where I go mine. After ordering it, I received in about 2 days.

Hope this helps and thank you for the compliments! Though, I have to thank John as he inspired this great project :-)

The ID project was fun. I love credentials and badges, which goes back to my days when I carried them working for the U.S. federal government.

I get my badge cases from Sally's Cop Shop:

Why do you need to source more maruzen silencer kits? Does he take an existing kit and modify it? How? From the looks of the silencer (it is beautiful BTW), it appears he unscrews the barrel adapter and builds a new silencer to fit. Am I correct?

    Thanks,
    S

this is way of topic, but does anyone know what type of tie knot James Bond wheres(Casino Royale)
  • Red IndianRed Indian BostonPosts: 427MI6 Agent
The knot looked like a full Windsor to me. Funny, considering that Fleming wrote Bond would never wear his that way! Brosnan did too though, it's just sign of the times - they've been "back in" so to speak for a while.

hi all back on track, we make our own thread adaptor that screws into the maruzen P99 metal barrel , one end is M10X.75 PITCH the other is 1/2 inch unf or available in M14 RH OR LH so you all can fit any airsoft silencer , by the way the cr silenser is now in stock with or without logos in matte or gloss ..
we are working on making our own metal barrel 4 the p99 as it is so hard to get and next batch is around may time .

The Maruzen silencer kit is needed for the internally threaded P99 barrel. But the silencer that comes with the kit looks much too skinny for a P99, though it looks like it would be good on a PPK.

007-QBranch makes its own silencers and adaptors to fit the Maruzen threaded barrel.

  • jscarlettjscarlett Posts: 51MI6 Agent

By the way, now that I have the DVD, it's obvious that Kev at Q-Branch nailed the suppressor. You can clearly see the perforations in the hi-res images. I can post some tonight.

He certainly did. If you can get some pics up that would be superb. Kev is currently sourcing the other stepped silencer used, as well as hopefully getting some KAC's in as seen in the titles sequence.

I still don't agree about the silencer being perforated though. They are just indentations. The silencers that Kev made me are also just indents and definately not perforated. Do we both have the same versions?

Asp, doesn't Kevin make them from the Nighthawk C02 pistol? That silencer is perforated. And then he just fills in the perforated gaps to make them look like indentations, just like the film.

When can we get a copy of the SIS logo? It looked awesome.

The ones that I have off Kev are solid with indents. I don't know whether he made some off the Nighthawk and put in an extra cylinder and filled the perforations when he first started making them, but the latest ones I have off him are not made like this, maybe this is why I get confused with jscarletts 'perforation' posts :s

    HI EVERYONE
THE SILENCER THAT WE MAKE ARE ALL MADE FROM SOLID BILLETS OF ALLY, FIRST WE BORE THEM OUT TO MAKE THEM LIGHT WEIGHT, THEN WE ADD THE THREAD 1/2INCH UNF OR SOME TIMES M14 X 1 THEN WE CNC MILL THE SLOTS IN WITH A 10 MM O/D END MILL CUTTER TO APROX 1/2MILL DEEP. THE INTERNAL FOAM BAFFELS ARE PLACED INTO THE SILENCER AND THE END CAP IS PRESSED IN ALL AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN BEED BLASTED & ANODIZED BLACK , THIS IS WHY THEY COST A LOT AS THEY ARE HAND MADE TO ORDER , AND NOT LIKE THE PLASTIC VERSION THAT YOU WILL FIND ON THE CP99 NIGHTHAWLK V1, THAT HAS HOLES & NOT DENTS ...
THE P99 SILENCER ON THE FILM WAS A REAL P.A.K 9 MM BLANK FIRE SILENCER, MADE BY RHOM IN GERMANY TO FIT THE UMAREX P99 P.A.K 9MM BLANK GUN. THAT WAS SUPPLIED TO THE FILM SET IT HAD DENTS IN IT LIKE MY MILLED SILENCERS AND NOT HOLES
I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT UMAREX WALTHER HAVE A LTD EDT P99 WITH THIS TYPE OF SILENCER FITTED , BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS A SECTION 5 FIREARM AND TOTALY NOT LEGAL IN THE UK WITHOUT A LICENCE..

As I'll say anytime I have a chance, nobody does it better than Kev at Q-Branch.

Oh, and I got my "fauxmega" in New York City from a sidewalk vendor. Well, my friend got it for me.

I would like to know if you would be able to also place a copy of the MI6 Emblem on the site as you have on the Folder in the briefcase. I would like to create a folder for some of my own
papers on Bond. Thank You Felex
