Has anyone seen this or if you have, like it?
I've been watching this program since its debut and it's pretty good but if I had a gripe about it, I'd say that there are way too many characters to start out with.
I like the two Asian guys though; they're sort of like comic relief .

I see over the last couple of episodes that Christopher Eccleston(Dr. Who) has joined the cast as a wanderer with invisibility powers...

These are prejudices of mine as well, Tony. However, I'm willing to hold judgement until I see how this actually forms out - if it ever gets to the point that is. )
I prefer tights as well and yes...I am also dated in this concept so waiting to see if they'll form an Avengers/JLA pact is at least worth the wait...
I too HATE Smallville and it's 90210/Melrose Place preface... X-( )

That line is a microcosm for my problems with so many of these shows (and some movies while we're at it) and why I lose interest in them so quickly. If it were really possible to possess extraordinary powers, somehow I think the everyday issues I have to deal with like relationships and my job would quickly become irrelevant. If you had the proportionate strength and abilities of a spider, would you really settle for delivering pizza? That's why I tuned out a lot of Marvel comics like Spiderman and X-Men and why I can't get into Heroes, Smallville and their ilk.
I like view these stories as epic confrontations involving giants, not ansgt ridden cheerleaders.
AH-HAH! ) ) )
Now I know your angst for Spider-Man 2! )
I think, in a nutshell, that everyone is trying to come to terms with what's going on with them but their margin of acceptance is closing in on the impending doom of a cataclysmic bomb set to wipe out New York City. That's the problem I have; the writers are keeping everything vague right up until the last show and I'll bet my last dollar that we won't know what's going to happen until the next season...if the studios haven't had enough.
This is the same problem I had with INVASION and I think that is what sealed its fate and it didn't have as much character introduction as Heroes does...

Yup. When Peter and Aunt May were at the bank getting rejected for that loan, it took all my willpower to keep from standing up, pointing at the screen and shouting out "You pathetic squirming impotent worm!! Get off your sorry ass and get the old bag a toaster!!! And make mine a pepperoni and mushroom, light on the sauce!!!!"
Batman would have hauled the loan officer to the roof and hung him upside down from the flagpole ... and then bought the bank!

I didn't see that one. As I said before, the thought seeing my beloved superheros running around in jeans and t-shirts that vaguely match the colors of their costumes is just a big turn-off to me.
I'm sure I'll come across it eventually but I'm honestly in no hurry. What did you think of it?
I'm probably worse than Tony on this, Agent M but I don't even watch the show.
I came close when Green Arrow was to make an appearance...then I saw that it was the DAWSON'S CREEK version...I took a pass.

My sons and I love Smallville. It's a hell of a lot of fun {[] They just re-ran the fledgling 'Justice League' episode last night...but I hadn't seen it before, so it was new to me. Pretty cool.
Still, I didn't get into it until it was in its third season, and I saw a couple of episodes. Now I own all five previous seasons on DVD...it's 'Dad and the boys' time B-)
I've never given 'Heroes' as much as a glance...but perhaps I will at some point...

I love the fact that it is largely character based and doesn't try to impress with stupidly OTT set pieces.
Also I think the pacing of the developing story is fantstic

I have a feeling that they won't take it that far.

Did Hiro have a costume on when he froze time on that subway train and appeared to Peter?
He was dressed all in black I think. Don't think it was a costume. He had that ninja/samurai vibe to him though. Beginning to love this show.
He had a bit of a goatee too I think and had ditched the glasses. I think it's a nice touch that Hiro now has to find the sword that his future self carries.
