Has anyone found somewhere to buy a Long Sleeve Polo, like the one in the Chase scene in the UK?
I went out hunting the other week and got a Navy Short Sleeved Polo but can't find anything remotly similar to the long sleeved.

    anyone found anything?

I found this site by accident last week, its UK based and the shirts look pretty cool and they have the right colors too

I don't suppose anyone has found any casino royale-like items in Australia?

    The Henbury one looks best.
  • TylerTyler Posts: 184MI6 Agent
Solaris, the Henbury in the Cornflour color option is the one I was talking about.

I've just ordered the Henbury Polo. Can't wait for it to arrive now.

Which one did ya go for?...the navy or cornflower?

For 22 bucks the price is excellent too

    Hi,

That's a really good find! I just ordered a cornflower henbury shirt.

I noticed the Jerzees shirt, the Air Force Blue colour looked like a slightly better match as it's a little bit muted and darker, but I emailed, they say it's been discontinued.

    Blue

Went for navy. Thought cornflower was a bit too light

I thought Cornflower was a bit too pale, so I think I'll order it in navy when I get round to it. probably at the weekend.

I think you're right about it being a bit pale, but I'll take a picture of the cornflower one and post it when I receive it.

    Blue

I think you'll find the color a pretty close match. I got the LL Bean version (which looks adead ringer for the UK version listed) and its spot on.

I had a look at the DVD today, the shade of the blue seems to vary quite alot depending on the lighting, obviously. It makes it hard to gauge what it's neutral colour is.

    Blue

I have been looking for this as we. Its says that Henry Bucks in Melbourne sell Sunspel, the polo he wore in nassau but I dont think they would stock it. It seems we miss out on just about everything over here

I guess I like the Lands End one becuase it is a tight weave...in the BluRay Disc you can plainly see it is not a pique material. And it should have no tennis tail in the back...same length all around.

Mantis, I just noticed that you mentioned Bond wearing sandals in his Bahamas Return scene. I don't remember seeing sandals. Do you have a picture?

I think it's clearly seen he's wearing regular dark brown loafers.

Also, Mantis, another question. You suggest getting the linen Bahamas suit from Baron Boutique. Perhaps they could be convinced to make a package deal - a replica of the suit and the linen shirt he wears as well, similar to their TWINE offering. Do you think they would do it? As you've ordered from them before, what do you think? Would an email be in order? Also, does anyone have high res pics of the linen shirt?

I still want that damn elusive tropical shirt... :#

So do I. But I found something similar on eBay, so I'm happy for now. I don't think there are any others for sale. But it was nice, because it was $8. I took some pics of my Madagascar outfit, will try to post them at some point.

YES, ask yo speak to Raj at Baron Boutique and tell him I referred you. If he doesn't give you a free linen shirt at the very last he will severely discount it (by the way, custom linen shirts are on $46!)....

But is the shirt a copy of the short sleeve one with epaulettes?

EDIT: I sent him an email with one good pic of the suit and lots of crappy pics of the shirt I took from the DVD. Waiting for the reply.
