Now wouldn't that be a conference to remember: Tee Hee, Loeffs, and JFF. Just throw in Chicago resident Barry Nelson and we'd have a party. :))

Looks like the snow has bought me another day of no school. And I only have class 4 days a week. Monday I took off to attend an event, and Tuesday and Wednesday are snow days. If we have class on Thursday, I will have had a 1 day week! :)) Counting last weekend, I haven't had school for 6 days! Thank you Mother Nature! {[]

I was supposed to work until 10 PM, but got off at 3 when they closed us down.

Police are telling everyone to stay off the roads, and that's good enough for me...
    I blame the English...

Anybody else thought this thread was finished for the year? :D Hopefully it won't last. It is supposed to be Spring after all.

Once again, west central Scotland gives it a nice body swerve. Been gloriously sunny (albeit frickin' freezin' with it) for the last couple of days. :) I'm guessing you're a bit further up into the wilds than me!

Indeed. I was completely unaware of all the white stuff being here in sunny Weegieland. Absolutely Baltic of course, but sunny nevertheless. :D

Global warming my a***! It's not snowing, but there are inches of frost outside. The back door to my house is frozen. Nothing unusual about that, except it's on the inside too.

It's not as bad as that here on the borders of East Ren and Ayrshire. To quote M5, it's fricking freezing but the frost has stayed on the outside. My poor dog's sliding around as if on skates when we go for walks, and a blowlamp would be useful when scraping the car in the mornings, but overall can't complain- so far!

You're a bit further north, though, aren't you JD?

Outside Aberdeen. It's not too bad in the city, but once you get out into the country, the place is just frozen solid.

You won't be that far from where I used to live then. Nevertheless, I never had the *inside* of my door frozen! I do remember the black ice well, as well as that odd week at the end of February / beginning of March when we would get loads of snow, with the notion of gritting a seemingly foreign concept to the Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire councils.

I do miss the snow though.

Snow on the coast...not seen that in a long, long time...

How much more of this crappy weather can we take? It's done nothing but rain and blow a gale for the last 3 weeks, now snow. Three ships, two of which quite considerable in size, running aground and needing air rescues, hundreds of motorists in make shift shelters after having to be rescued... Give us a flippin' break!!!

Best you move south of the border M5 ;)

We're stuck in an endless cycle of mediocrity here. Think we've forgotten what a season is :))
