Gunbarrel... just on holiday?

I KNOW this must have been posted elsewhere but I've been away fir a while... sorry! I take it the gunbarrel has just been given a brief hiatus. Is there a belief that it will return in the next movie? I totally see why it wasn't in CR (well it was kind of in the titles), but I'm hoping for a return!

    I've every confidence that the traditional gunbarrel will return to its customary place in the next movie...but the way they chose to do it in CR came off rather nicely, in my opinion.

    Yeah I liked it, thought it was clever... but the whole no gunbarrel cos he aint 007 yet was good. At least they technically had it there somehwere, just for consistencies sake!
