Not sure if this is world wide or just an Ezydvd thing but they are bringing out a limited edition poker pack.

Seems Wal-mart, in the US, is giving them away along with a perchase of CR on dvd (when it comes out). Without the big metal box of course {[]

I emailed ezydvd about this as I noticed that the poker chips in the picture had big E symbols on them. They confirmed that the chips do have the ezydvd symbol on them, so this is NOT a casino royale poker set - dissapointing.

I didnt think it would be a Casino Royale poker set. Ezydvd seem to bring out a metal tin with most of their movies. I suppose this time they decided to a poker chips and cards to it. There is someone that is trying to sell it on ebay US and expects people to pay $125 Aus for it

Here is a pic of the Casino Royale DVD set that www.walmart.com is selling....for $19.96 it's impossible to pass up and forces a person to get them for friends as well!

That's a great looking DVD set there. I really hope they decide to release something similar this side of the pond as well. Do Wal-Mart export ?

Sir Miles and any other UK based fans....Unfortunately Wal-Mart do not ship outside of the US....maybe best to try eBay once the disc is released.

Hello All:
I've been a member for a while now, and decided to take the plunge a post a message. Here's a quick update for those of us in the U.S. regarding special offers...

Target stores offer a 'Deluxe Edition' of Casino Royale with a bonus 'Making of' DVD. UPDATE: There is no bonus DVD - it is a small size 'Bond on Set' book by Greg Williams. (Great to keep on my desk at work!):)

Circuit City offers a free collectible Royale coin.

I'm already getting grief from a co-worker who found out that I'll be buying multiple copies on my lunch break tomorrow (like he doesn't have a least three different copies of Lord of the Rings!)

Sir M, I'm off to the US in a week or so. If I happen past a Walmart or Target, I'll poke my head in for you.

However, I am only going to be in central New Orleans and Manhattan and I think Walmart and Target tend towards only having suburban outlets ...

Here in the US, Best Buy will be releasing Casino Royale with a miniature Aston Martin DBS car! Can't tell from the scale in the ad, but looks to be about the size of a matchbox car (roughly 1/64 scale). Decisions, decisions!

I just found out that you can buy the car separately for $9.99 from Best Buy..so I did that, and bought the movie w/book from Target!

But seriously, you might check out their Web site. I don't know why they wouldn't ship overseas.

I bought my copy at wal-mart, too, minus the cards. $13.99, so I'm not complaining.

This is what I did. I'm not going to open the car package. It does have a dial in it though, with a few facts about the movie. Nothing we don't already know. I also turned the package over to find that the manufactor has some other Bond collectible cars, including The Moonraker Space Shuttle, Little nellie, BMW Z3, Aston Martin vanquish, Jaguar XKR, Aston MArtin DB5, Goldfingers Rolls Royce, Lotus Underwater, the Aston MArtin DB5 in Casino Royale. Anyone know if these may be worth something one day?

With regards to Casino Royale goodies, W.H Smith's (at least my local one) is offering a paperpack (availabilty ltd) when pre-ordering the dvd, its the Puffin one with Daniel Craig on the cover.

I picked up the Wal-Mart version with the cards and poker chip Monday night at Midnight. And yes, it was Widescreen. Since I already have the full version of "Bond on Set," I figured the Wal-Mart set to be a better deal for me. I haven't even sat down to watch the special features yet, though. With a newborn baby around, I'm lucky I even found time to go out and buy it! But, I plan on watching them soon.:007)

Wal-Mart bought the ASDA supermarket group a few years ago and have opened about 5 Wal-Mart stores so far - basically just larger ASDA stores. I wonder if they will stock something similar ?

Sir Miles, I am afraid not.
Here in Germany, WalMart took over WERTKAUF some years ago, but there are almost no US items.
E.g. I hoped to find the JL models there, but the only thing, they have from the US is Hershey's sauce.

God, I miss that Skippy peanut butter and Campbells clam chowder, which I take in dozens, when I am in the US.

For $25 at Target, you get the 2-DVD pack along with a miniature version of the CR Bond on Set book, which is hardback like its larger brother with dimensions of around 8x8. It's kind of cute and I actually prefer the smaller size, perfect for those quiet, private moments in the... ;%

Will have to return the copy I bought from Circuit City, which they sell for $15 during the first week of release, but they did not give me my free Casino Royale commemorative coin! Would it have worked at the laundrymat?
