Here is a cheaper alternative for the blue swim shorts
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/JAMES-BOND-Mens-Trunks-007-SWIMWEAR-Size-36-L-BLUE_W0QQitemZ330105819410QQihZ014QQcategoryZ78780QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They are light blue at the front and the back is dark blue. I cant remember and perhaps Mantis can help out here but do the actual shorts have dark blue backside

The original Grigioperlas have a dark blue rear side.

Hello everyone, hope I'm not hijacking this thread with the question I'm about to put to you. I came across this site after seeing David's excellent article on Jamesbondlifestyle and so followed the trail back here. Anyway, here's my question; Baronboutique, has anyone from the UK purchased items from them? There looks like some lovely stuff there and who can argue at those prices?!

Also, the linen shirts, do they have straight-cut bottoms (no tail)?

I had a line shirt made as a replica of the Bahamas/Solange scene from them...long sleeved dark blue, dark blue buttons, flat cut bottom, no tail etc....they did an incredible job.

    Was that shirt really linen?

    Also how much was it?

Indeed. In the last month our dollar has gone up quite a bit. I remember a year ago I think the dollar was worth .75-.78 US cents. Now it's worth around .83. It might sound sound like alot but it's a fair increase - and buying off the net is very often much cheaper than buying something in Australia.

Now is a brilliant time to buy online for Australians.

Precisely... I've been using the opportunity to rack up some awful eBay debt. Make me into Vesper, I say! (I've already bought the Sony Ericsson m600i, the Versace sunglasses, the Melograno perfume... perhaps I should join a support group?)

How did you ship the Melograno to Australia? Most US/Europe shops dont ship to Oz? Thinking o geting a bottle to Sydney

I was fortunate in that a friend was just coming back from Europe at the time ;) But I'm sure you could try eBay.

Where can you get the tie Bond wears in the last scene

I believe that it was Ted Baker, a tie by the name of 'Sabal.' Sabal is still sold, but not in that color.

Thanks, I appreciate the help, its too bad however, that its not in that color...does anyone know of a reasonable alternative?

I've got a pair of Wayfarers, like Connery wore in Thunderball. They're the best. Apart from Connery, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, James Dean and John F. Kennedy wore them. That's an esteemed list!
