How about you tell us what your's is/are.
1.) Bond's standoff at the embassy.
2.) Bond and Vesper meeting on the train.
3.) Bond introducing himself to White.
Very, very close contenders are his hitting Mollaka with the empty gun, the scene with the tux, his resurrection with Vesper's help (ironic because he fails to do the same for her at the end and heroic because his first thought is to inquire if she's all right), the torture sequence, Bond's dispatching of Gettler, Vesper's death, and Bond's introduction to White.
There are also nice moments in otherwise fairly ordinary scenes -- Bond's cheerful "I will" in response to "Enjoy your stay" at the hotel, for instance, or his Connery-esque walks, and even his "Ow" when getting the tracker.
Wow, the more I think about it, the less I'm willing to commit to just three scenes.
Stairwell Fight
Solange on the Horse ! and getting off it
You or the horse?
I'm sorry. I couldn't resist.
For me it's the PTS with Dryden,
The Embassy affair
The fight in the Venice building
Batman: "The Hammer Of Justice is UNISEX!"
-Batman: The Brave & The Bold -
Bond and Vesper meet on the train to Montenegro.
Both benefit from a good script. But this is one of the most memorable meetings. Remember when the entrance of the Bond girl was one of the films best moments? The dialogue crackles with energy. And his stripping down of her persona "a woman with insecurities that her superiors see as arrogance" is superb. Both Green and Craig are superb.
2.
The collapse of the Venetian palazzo.
There are moaners on other forums who say this bit was extraneous and was too much at the end. But I love the idea of one of those fabulous palaces on the Grande Canales slowly sinking into the water. I sought of caught my breath as one of the worlds architectural treasures is destoryed by 007. I know it is cgi but it was very well done. And the crowd rushing to the canalside added to the awe.
3.
"That last hand just killed me.."
For the last four minutes I had been on the edge of my seat as I thought Bond was going to buy it. Covered in sweat he returns to the table and slides into the seat and says that line..and brings the house down.
My favourite moment of the film.
it's just so cute and it makes me go awwww every single time!
2. The PTS/embassy chase
I love the black and white, it's cool to finnaly see who Bond has been shooting for some 40 odd years! Also, Parkour is AMAZING. I've been inspired to start doing some myself with some friends. pretty fun!
3. The torture.
so well done. It's still funny to watch with my male friends...sorry guys! Plus, the look of abject terror in Dan's eyes...makes me tear up and want to go bust in and save him.

2. Shower Scene with Vesper.
3. Meeting Mr. White.

2) The foot chase to the embassy. The few seconds when Bond storms the office, kicks Malaka in the stomoach, wrestles the gun from the bureaucrats hand, then slams his head into the statue and punches him in the face with the gun was great.
3) Lastly, I cant believe I'm the only one who mentioned the torture scene. I've never scene Bond get beat up like that before, I've always believed that Bond should get the snot kicked out of him big time, -once and while anyway.
2) The confrontation with Dimitrios in the airport-- when they're struggling with each other with the knife the look on Bond's face and the way he eventually gets the better of Dimitrios is awesome.
3) The shower scene-- very well done and it portrays an interesting side of Craig's Bond's character.
4) The fight in the stairwell-- just very well done overall.
5) When he first puts on the tux-- very cool.
6) When the bomb goes off at the airport-- Craig has this wicked sort of half-smile that is hilarious and not at all over the top.
2) Stairwell fight
3) Bond's introduction to Mr White
1. The death of Vesper, the emotion that Craig shows is just amazing, from complete anger to complete loss in just a few seconds. It chokes me everytime I see it.
2. Once again I must mention the shower scene, again brilliantly acted from both parties and not out of place at all.
3. The meeting on the train and especially 'Every penny of it!" just wonderful from beginning to the end.
There are of course many many more, some great action (but not over the top or cheesy) The fight scenes are brutal and realistic.
It just goes to show what a great film this is and wonderful the actors are, I just can't wait until the next one!
2 - Bond and Vesper meeting on the train. "You've noticed." (But i can't choose between this one and the scene of Vesper which commits suicide…So intense !)
3 - Bond which gains the DB5. -{
2. The torture scene. Need I say more?
3. And the scene with Bond and Vesper in the cab. The end dialogue had the whole theater in stiches.
Vesper: Am I going to have a problem with Bond?
Bond: No, don't worry, your not my type.
Vesper: Smart?
Bond: Single
Judi Dench is incredible here. She and Craig play brilliantly off one another.
Second, the pre credits sequence. Bond is a killer and that is established immediately. He's not just killing in self-defense. He's been sent to destroy a traitor. He's cool and ruthless and about time too.
Third,the Mollaka chase. Breath taking from start to finish.-{
1. The part in which he enters the embassy, he enters, he kicks. Period. I mean Mollaka seems to be entering in a hurry, but Bond enters "suave" and kicks who he find inside... i mean, i think those two didn't expect that kick.
2. The scene in the limo, the dialogue, the reaction of Vesper, has a pair of wit commentaries that i really like.
3.When Bond searches for Vesper, everything 'tll the part that he enters the building (but just to keep the scene short). Shows Bond like if he was lost, like WTF, he runs, he searches, but in tha time, it seems that he change the "why vesper?, why?" first reaction to one more like a 00, to make him say "allow me".
In those three, i enjoyed Craig (and vesper in the second) but i will have to agree with more than one's choice in this post.
Edit: i forgot to add one, this scene makes me see the movie every day. the Bond, Vesper dialogue in the bathroom, when he gives her dress and vice versa.. i love Eva Green looking herself in the mirror... i love her looks there.
Next would be the scene where Bond is driving the Ford to the hotel (can anyone remember the model of the car?)
And finally, the scene where Le Chiffre enters his hotel room where the fight erupts with the girl.
1) Meeting Vesper on the train: Bond's shake of the head when Vesper leaves.
2) The limo ride: "You're not my type ....single" - how wrong he was!
3) Meeting Mathis: "Not that I have anything against accountants, many of them are lovely people."
I think John Ford is credited with saying that a good movie has "three good scenes and no bad ones."
Bond’s Beretta
The Handguns of Ian Fleming's James Bond
Just so you know I mentioned that scene in a Best/Worst Bond villain forum (Le Chiffre is a bad@$$!)
My fav scenes:
1. Opening sequence "Not to worry, the second one is-" *Gunshot*
"Yes, considerably." So awesome!
2. I know almost everyone has said it but the foot chase to the embassy was great. I thought I was going to have an asthma attack from watching all that running. Boy did Bond run a whole lot in this movie or is it just me?
3. Since I already mentioned the torture scene (awesome) I'll go with the scene where Bond and Vesper are getting ready for the poker game and Bond realizes that his jacket is tailored.
Vesper: "There are dinner jackets and there are dinner jackets, this is the latter..."
It's a great scene of him coming into his Bondness since it is the first time in the movie we see him a suit. Also the fact that he knew the cut of the suit is a play back to Connery's Bond. Loved seeing him all dressed up.
