Now including the excellent 2006 Casino Royale film's Vesper Lynd character, who are your 3 personal favorite Bond girl characters (be it a Bond colleague, or a female antagonist) and please say why, for either your admiration of the Bond female (good or bad) character, admiration of the actress who played here, or a combination of both.
Comments
Melina (FYEO) - The best bond girl from Moore's films. Again, a beautiful, independant woman.
Anya (TSWLM) - Sorry, I just put her in here because she looked fabulous in that wet top at the end of the movie.
Tilly Masterson - No nonsense, beautiful and classy!
Tatiana Romanova - Beautiful & honorable.
Carey Lowell - Basically just gorgeous!!
Tatiana. Just a lovely Russian girl.
Miss Moneypenny (Samantha Bond). The verbal, double-meaning duel. The only girl he won't sleep with.
Fiona. She's Italian. She has the true temperment of country of origin. Her tresses are red to much her passion. She's a man eater and she exudes red hot sex appeal.
Jill Masterson. Her scene appears all too quickly but it leaves an indelible image. She's played by 60s Golden Girl Shirley Eaton, who is the possessor of a most enticing smile. (I'm beginning to like you Mrs. Eaton)
2. Pussy Galore - Just for the name alone
3. Dr Christmas Jones - Not because I like the film or her acting, but just because she is gorgeous and sooo good in her wet T-shirt at the end
Christmas Jones - the hottest nuclear scientist on the planet
Magda - nice that she is not ALL bad, and her skills are a welcome asset
Of course......Magda is well fit yes! Such a sexy accent too. 8-)
Pam Bouvier (Carey Lowell) the one actress who was able to balance being a capable Bond ally while still remaining feminine. Had great chemistry with Dalton.
Fiona Volpe (Lucianna Paluzzi) one of the best henchpersons ever and the most erotic woman character in a Bond movie ever.
2) Tracy Bond, nee 'Contessa Teresa di Vicenzo' - Dame Diana Rigg
3) Domino - Claudine Auger
Coming in at #4 is none other than the much maligned, off-dissed Vesper Lynd :x I'll protect you, my dear Eva :007)
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
Go right ahead, she's all yours.
My Top 3:
1) Anya Amasova: Skimpy outfit? Check! Water? Check! Drool Bucket? Check! Ringo Starr is a lucky man!
2) Magda: Extremely beautiful, and great to watch in action. Perhaps she'd care to share a "loving cup" with me sometime
3)Elektra King: I'd play Santa Claus with her any day. Sexy accent and all around beautiful! :x
Honorable mentions: Naomi and Solitare
-Roger Moore
I'd sit of course! The positives would out weight the negatives IMO. )
-Roger Moore
Don't mind if I do!
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
Second, Elektra King. She looks great in that red dress, not to mention that I'd take that chair any day!
Third, Caroline Bliss's Moneypenny. I think she deserves at least one mention in this thread. She might seem an unusual entry, but I do think she was the best-looking Moneypenny. It was a shame she got so little screen time in Dalton's films, but she was definitely the most unique. Her "forgettable" role just needed some character building, which she was sadly deprived of. Really though, how could I resist a cute girl in glasses with a last name of Bliss, anyway?!
I must confess I probably would.
No apologies to those who thought Eva Green did a good job.
1. Caterina Murino (Solange) I have no idea how Bond could leave her like that. Baby id be with her 24/7 just to look at that body
2. Sophie Marceau (Elektra King) Because shes got an out standing body!
3. The 1962 version of Ursula Andress (Honey Ryder) She was smoking comeing out of the water.
Tatiana Romanova
Stacy Sutton
2) Fiona Volpe (Thunderball)
3) Tatiana (From Russia with Love)
Bond’s Beretta
The Handguns of Ian Fleming's James Bond
2) Teresa di Vicenzo (Diana Rigg)
3)= Domino Derval (Claudine Auger)
3)= Elektra King (Sophie Marceau)
A cop-out I know, however I just could not make my mind up between Domino and Elektra. Love them both.
Pussy Galore- Pussy was a hard one- uhhh. She could stand up to Bond, and knock him down too!
Finally, I must go out on my own here. I choose number three not for her usefullness, but for other reasons:
Goodnight- Britt Eklund- oh my!
Can't disagree with that {[]
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
1. As much as I loved Vesper, I'll have to go with Solange (Caterina Murino) instead because I found her to be a more exotic beauty.
2. Tracy (OHMSS) talk about an independant woman, I loved her personality and the dynamic that she had with Bond, and I think if Bond were going to marry any type of woman again (big mistake though) she would have to be like her.
3. Onnatop, my favorite female villain. I guess I have a thing for crazy Russian chicks, but I thought she was great at being a psycho!
2. Tracy DiVincenzo
3. Jenny Flex
2. Lupe
3. Kissy
Ummmmm.... I'd say Xenia, Tanya, and Amasova
2- Domino
3- Tiffany Case
They don't make em' like they used to
anya the second most beautiful communist ever
onatopp the third most beautiful communist ever
I have a thing for communist women
