In the 'Remington Steele' season 2:2 episode, 'Steele Away with Me part 2,' one character remarks to Steele (Brosnan), that 'It's like a dream. It's like a fantasy. It's like a James Bond movie.'
I just watched this episode the other night, and the music for the episode is blatantly trying to imitate both the Bond sound, including a melody that is very similiar to 'From Russia With Love.' Another little tidbit is that the episode stars Pedro Armanderiz Jr.
I noticed the music was very Bond-like. The entire episode was like a 007 audition for Pierce Brosnan.
In the Movie Fracture The Protaganist wears a tux to the court room, the Judge calls him 007.
In Tom Clancy's Red Rabbit about a defector from Berlin, there are atleast 14 referances to Bond, from mentioning Ian's name to blantantly saying James Bond/MI6 ect to saying "In the movies after the good guy kill the bad guy he orders a vodka martini."
I'm guessing that Clancy is a Bond fan, why else would he referance him so many times in one book, at present its the only one that I know of that does that.
In Lucky Number Slevin Josh Hartnett and Lucy Lui's characters discuss who the best Bond is. The answer they decide upon is 'Scotland Forever.' A reference to Mr Connery's tatoo.
Also, as I make my way through Remington Steele, there is another Bond reference in episode 3:1, this time the movie-quoting sleuth mentions Goldfinger.
While I wouldn't call this a 'Bond reference' perhaps I could create a new category called a 'Bond-ism?'...

I recently saw Fracture with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling plays a prosecutor who is trying to move up in the world. He's at a black tie affair one night to impress a firm he wants to join and he gets called out of it to attend a sentencing rather last minute. He appears in court in his tuxedo, and the judge says.."if 007 is ready, we can begin". ) Cracked me up.

It's really an underrated flick that has fallen under the radar. I thought it was funny as hell. Brent (Data) Spiner was hilarious, and Dyan Cannon in a bikini had me falling over. (whew)
I totally agree. Such a cute movie, and the two of them were really on their game! May they rest in peace. I agree about Dyan Cannon...do you know she is 70 years old this year??!! I know that movie was about 10 years ago, but even at 60 she looked fantastic! Elaine Stritch is hilarious in that too!
I've been on a cruise on that ship. It was shot on Holland America's Westerdam, and I recognized it immediately when I saw the movie. Sorry.. little additional trivia.
In an episode of David Lynch's Twin Peaks, a reference is made to a Walther PPK being the gun used by James Bond. I can't remember which episode, but it was definitely in the second season, after Agent Cooper is suspended by the FBI.

I watched The Incredibles last night and thoroughly enjoyed all the Bond references in it.
In season 2 of Spooks, MI5 for US viewers, MI5 agent Tom Quinn (Matthew MacFadyen) is approached my a middle-aged man looking for a good time. It turns out that Quinn's embittered ex-girlfriend has placed leaflets in phone-booths all over London with his photo superimposed upon one of the Bond actors, in a mock-up of a 007 movie poster. Only this one is advertising the kind of secret services that would make Her Majesty blush. )
I just caught the latest episode of CSI: NY, which was titled "You Only Die Once." It was pretty much a Bond-fest, with a gang of tuxedo-clad criminals (dubbed, of course, the James Bond burglars) who rappel off buildings, make their escape in a cool car outfitted with instant dent-repair as well as an oil slick, flame-thrower, and laser beams in the wheels, and who have such gadgets as a jacket that can download information from a computer. There are also such touches as the body of a man named James being left on Bond Street, and a scene at a casino where the men wear tuxes, the women wear evening gowns, and a Bondian song is playing in the background. I'm just not sure what references to the Batmobile and the Mach-5 were doing in this episode. . .
The CSI franchise strikes again! In last night's CSI: Miami, it turns out that the killer uses a garroting wire. Guess what? The wire is concealed in his watch and it's extracted by pulling out the bezel. The kicker is there isn't a single nod to FRWL! If EON is really worried about protecting the Bond copyright, Jerry Bruckheimer's production company should be getting a call right about now. . .
In Charlie Wilson's War, Wilson (Tom Hanks) notes that the tubby CIA operative played by Philip Seymour Hoffman is no James Bond. Hoffman responds by pointing out that Wilson is not exactly Thomas Jefferson.
In Moonlighting, Season 4 Episode 13, 'Here's Living with you Kid,' Herbert Viola actually gets to work on a case when David and Maddie are away. Bert's rival, MacGillicudy taunts him by saying, "psst, M's away for the day Mr Bond."
I loved the bit in The Sum of All Fears, when shadowy CIA operative Clark insists Jack Ryan accompany him on a secret reconnaissance of a missile installation on Russian soil. The conversation goes something like this:
Ryan: "Wait a minute -- I'm just an analyst. I don't go on missions ..."
Clark: "Relax, 007. It's not a 'mission.' We're just going to take a look around ..."
Ryan: "But I just write reports ..."
Clark: "Fine. When we get back, you can write a report about it ..."

I remember a movie from some years back called Executive Decsion Don't remember the plot really, but the movie stared Kurt Russell. Kurt was in a Tux when as he was walking toward a commando unit. One of the commandos quips "Who is this, Double-Oh-Seven?" I believe the the commando was played by John Leguizamo.

just re-watched a few episodes of HOUSE last night, and it was in either Act Your Age or House Training that House asks a patient "Who's the better James Bond? Sean Connery or Daniel Craig?" and when she couldn't answer (she was incapable of making decisions as a result of her sickness) he made a face and said something along the lines of "See, that's not even something you have to think about."

In an episode of How I Met Your Mother that aired a few months back there was a scene when Ted was telling Marshall about this hot girl he saw at the bar and this pierceing she had, but as soon as he was right about to say piercing his ex-gf walked by and he said "pierce, pierce Brosnan was my favorite of all the Bonds"

In the episode Who Shot Mr. Burns, when Burns develops a way to block out the sun from the people in Springfield, with his plan being to gauge the townfolk on electricity 24/7 from his power plant, he shows his plan to Smithers in a model that pops out of the floor. The model, the way that Smithers scampers away nervously, and Burns' accompanying speech are a clear homage to Goldfinger -{

I just caught this one online. . .it seems that someone connected with the CSI franchise (maybe Jerry Bruckheimer hisself?) is a Bond fan. The May 1 episode of the original CSI, entitled "The Theory of Everything," has a moment where Grissom looks over some evidence and says, "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, the third time is enemy action."
"Winston Churchill?" asks Hodges.
"Ian Fleming," Grissom replies.
And, as all Bond fans should know, he was quoting Goldfinger.
I listen to alot of techno music and I fond two songs one called 007 not sure who sings it and one by DJ Keoki called Me that startes with Blofeld laugh from FYEO.

I'm not quite sure what I was asking for, really. I was just so excited to spot the Gale/Galore reference in the Avengers.
References to James Bond as a fictional character are plenty in movies and TV.
However, the Avengers reference is a bit different. I know it's just an in-joke by the Avengers team, but it could be interpreted as a subtle hint that the Avengers Universe and the Bond Universe are one and the same.
I suspect there are far fewer references like that.

PS, I spotted another fun Bond reference in the Avengers. In the ep. "Small game, big hunter", someone uses a rifle to try to kill Mr Steed. The shooter misses and Mr Steed approaches him and grabs the rifle saying "Mauser, single barrell. You've had your five". The rifle goes off *bang*, upon which Mr Steed quips "My arithmetics is shocking!"
In episode 2:5 'Hurry.' of Dead Like Me, one of the reapers goes speed dating to find her latest soul. He's a rather shy man who introduces himself by saying "Bond...James Bond," but does it so awkwardly that he immediately regrets it.
In the season 4 episode 'Too Many Christmas Trees,' of The Avengers John Steed receives a Christmas card from Cathy Gale (Honor Blackman’s character) that he notices is sent from Fort Knox. A reference to Blackman’s role as Pussy Galore in GF.
