I'm going to see this one, too. Did you know Gary Powers was supposed to land on Bodø military airport in Northern Norway on the flight he was shot down? A Norwegian KGB spy sat in an abondoned bunker overlooking the airfield with binoculars and a radio, reporting the U2 flights. His family lived near the Soviet border. They were communists and during WWII they promised one son for the Soviet Secret service. He was chosen by the family to serve the KGB. When Powers was shot down, most of the military and political leaders denied knowledge of the U2 flights on Norwegian soil, but I bett some of them knew.
Can it be that this ad for the Swedish Marines (Coastal Rangers) is taking the piss out of the action movies and/or military recruitment campaign from a large country to the west? )

This is the factual background for the movie: In one of the more spectacular fjords in the region I come from, a large chunk of a mountain is threathening to fall away and into the fjord itself. This will create an enormous tsunami. As a result a monotering station is buildt there to follow the movements of the montain. "The Wave" is Norway's first disaster movie (but sadly not the first disasterous movie ) ) The trailer looks fantastic!
