Just about every girl i know, from my girlfriend to my mom, goes absolutely gaga over Daniel Craig. They Immediately cite his "dreamy/beautiful" eyes, followed, of course, by lust over his torso and chiseled facial features like his jawline. Even though he may not be the most "handsome" i would have to say DC is definitely the most attractive Bond based off of how females react to him. Surprisingly, Pierce Brosnan, whom i thought was the best looking Bond, is deemed ugly and unattractive by alot of my female friends.

I'm amazed at all the responses voting Sean Connery the best looking bond. Maybe the most charismatic but I think if you are really basing it on pure aesthetic classic good looks you would have to say hands down its Pierce Brosnan. Ask any cosmetic surgeon and he will give you the same answer! Sean Connery had the raw masculinity but remember in his prime he had a wig, hairy back, and an awful set of crown teeth which is hardly what you would expect to see in someone with sheer natural good looks. As others have pointed out there is a big difference between being attractive which is based on the whole package rather than just the looks......just look at David Beckham.....looks good in a picture but then opens his mouth and a squeaky voice comes out! If PB had not been JB he could have easily raked in wads of money as a catalogue model!!! You cannot say the same of the others except for old George who seems to get a bit of a pasting on this thread. BTW my favourite bond is between Sean Connery and Daniel Craig. My wife thinks PB is the most classically handsome but she does not find him sexy.
I do find it amazing what women find attractive. Although do the women asked see
D Craig as Sexy as himself or when playing Bond. I have to admit as a Bloke I can't
see it, but if women say he's sexy then he's sexy, and what do I know.
After all I must be the Only AJBer who thinks Grace Jones is sexy. )

Not true...it is quite well know that Ian Fleming was not originally keen on the choice of Sean Connery as James Bond. I believe he was considered a bit rough around the edges!

Well in the Novels, Bond is described as having a 'Coma of Hair' drooping over his left Eye.

Oddly enough, none of them have hair to that description. They all swept it to the right or straight back in most of the film still and promo shots I am seeing.
In my,opinion, Craig looks like Gollum, but he's still a badass awesome Bond. For me, even though I'm a man, it's Dalton and Moore.
Gollum is a harsh comparison and it doesn't matter if you're a man. Of course a man can see whether or not they think another man is handsome. Its why half of us are scrambling over Bond's styling. We know the Bond actors look damn good, men or women judging.

while i wouldn't say that Brozzo is ugly, I would never want to look like him. The others on the other hand, if i HAD to look like them, it would be alright!

Actually, one of the things that got me stoked about Dalton was his wild hair, which I think was a nice 80's translation of literary Bond's unkempt "thick comma" during the 50's and 60's.
My input on this topic: ...as some have said in terms of "classically handsome" looks I would think Brosnan and Moore had those and in their prime, one would actually consider them as "pretty," though that is not the best description for our rugged hero. I would rank Lazenby next, then Dalton, then Connery, then Craig, again, strictly based on "classically handsome."
The key though if considering the books, Bond was both "terribly" handsome and ruthless looking at the same time. It's interesting to note, though that Christopher Lee, who somewhat endorsed DC when he was first announced for CR, did mention that based on discussions with Fleming (his distant cousin by marriage) about the character and appearance of Bond, Brosnan would be is the closest to his "vision." I would analyze the tastes back then of what Fleming would have considered as ruthlessly handsome, would be an image of some guy that by our standards today may nonetheless be "pretty" and one of his Bond choices, David Niven, comes to mind.

2) Daniel Craig ... not in the conventional sense but has a certain twinkle in his eye I like.
3) Sean Connery ... What can I say prefer a rugged look
4) George Lazenby Pierce Brosnan Roger Moore
Cant decide between these three. I know they are all handsome but none push any buttons for me.
C'mon gentlemen, dont' act surprised. Ol' Dalton was indeed a handsome fellow (I'm perfctly comfortable saying that!)
Funny how i know 'binders' full of women who express that Pierce is drop dead gorgeous. what??!! I dont get that one.
Craig in my opinion is ugly but very confident in his portrayal.
Sir Rog was more elegant and refined that handsome.
Connery can be described as handsome.
As a woman I can confirm that we generally do find Pierce extremely pleasing to the eye. I think it has something to with his hair... his hair is amazing!
"You were fantastic! We're free!"
"Kara, we're inside a Russian airbase in the middle of Afghanistan."
The prettiest one, at least in his first two films, was Pierce Brosnan
The ruggedly handsome leaders are Sean Connery and Timothy Dalton.
Also, I'd say Connery and Dalton are the best sounding Bonds as well.
As for which one I most resemble? T Dalts. My jawline isn't as long, but I've got brownish hair, green eyes, the thick eyebrows, and the deep cleft in the chin. And I have the beginnings of his receding hairline which was more prominent in 'Licence to Kill'. I'm not disappointed in that either. If I can look as good when I'm in my 60s as Dalton does, I can die a happy man.
As a female, I personally think Connery (those eyes!) and Dalton were the most appealing for me (and then Daniel Craig in Casino Royale although he's unfortunately he's aged quite a bit in Skyfall). I then say Moore (although in some of his films his
character's lechery was a bit of a turn-off).
Although Brosnan was probably the most classically handsome, he did/does nothing for me (too cardboard, like a male model - I know Lazenby was a male model!). I guess I personally prefer more rugged men. As well, I dislike Brosnan's voice (love Connery's and really like Dalton's).
I don't think I resemble any of the actors in any way - I couldn't even pass as a relative! Some have said I could pass as a brother of the late Christopher Reeve - which I don't see but still appreciate the compliment. As far as the actors ranking, it depends on one's perspective. From a purely photogenic one, it would be Brosnan/Moore/Lazenby/Dalton/Connery/Craig. From the point of shear testosterone - Connery/Craig/Dalton a tie, with Lazenby close behind then Brosnan and Moore.

I'll still put my vote for Connery, though:
Except... Roger Moore actually WAS a catalogue model in his younger days.

Not worth a thread on its own you see.
I think Brozzer did the same for GE, by the time of TWINE he has, as Germaine Greer distastefully put it on The Review Show, 'hairy bosoms'...
Roger Moore 1927-2017
Pierce Brosnan - there's probably something psychological to say about the fact that as Bond he looked like my dad in his younger days
Timothy Dalton - I also really like his voice
Sean Connery
Roger Moore - ignoring AVTAK
Daniel Craig - sexy (THAT TORSO), but not handsome
George Lazenby - he is in no way ugly, but there is nothing to raise him up among the others
'Sexy':
Daniel Craig
Sean Connery
Pierce Brosnan/Timothy Dalton
Roger Moore
George Lazenby

The way Brando looked when he was young would fit the classic Bond discription perfectly in my oppinion! "Handsome and Ruthless".
