I'm surprised people don't like this name. I like it (obviously she's the daughter of this Jack Stone character). I think Higson alway gets his Bond Girl name balance just right. Precious Stone. It's a touch outrageous, but not impossible, especially in the 1930s ("Precious" was a name you heard back then). Unlike say, Lavender Peacock (License Renewed)...which is fun, but it just isn't a name.

"Precious Stone? Named after your father's kidney condition, no doubt!"

It's cute enough, and probably better than Emerald Greene("Everybody calls me 'Emmy'."),Theodora Bear("Just call me 'Teddi'."), Pearl Grey,Sunny Weather,Crimson Dawn or Hope Diamond would've been.:)

Seriously,Precious Stone is no more outrageous a name than Pussy Galore was,and in my opinion,it's slightly more credible--especially if Precious is a nickname.
