Can't say I'm all that keen on Bond begins... again. They've rebooted the style with Casino Royale, I don't think they'll be going back-in-time any more than they've already done.
If Young Bond does make it to the screen, then all very well... but it shouldn't be overshadowing the adult franchise or Bond 22.

Yeah, you could say that. But my theory is bond was born during the war and was in his 20's during the SC era and in his 50's during the PB era
So if you continue on with that theory you'd like to see a 60yr and 70yr old Bond ? What about the obvious ageing of Roger Moore and the even more obvious younger Tim Dalton ? Not to mention the various skills each Bond have/have not had - one example is being able to diffuse a nuclear bomb in one film, but not in another ?

I think you'll find the timeline was pretty screwed up anyway.
