I thought the programme took a slight dip during series 3/4. The last series was great though, so I'm looking forward to Wednesday. I couldn't get on with Rupert and his bad dreams stuff.
Incidentally, during Season One, they had online games based around observations during the programme. A friend of mine thought it carried on during Season Two and in the final episode you see Matthew Macfadyen dial a number into a telephone in the old womans house very clearly. My mate noted this number down and got an answer machine message from Macfadyen. He left his name and number, and thinking it was to win a prize rang me and I did the same. Twenty minutes later Matthew Macfadyen rang him back to find out what he wanted. On explaining, Macfadyen replied with 'Bugger, I entered my own number in as a matter of habit, never thought about it'. Bizarrely he kept the same number for a couple of years. It's a dead line now as he was probably fed up of two idiots ringing him periodically to prove the story was real )
