Just wondering..

Hi everyone, Im a film studies student currently studying in Manchester, as part of my qualification, I have been asked to create my own research paper and I have chosen the question "How different performers have affected the portrayal of James Bond" to answer. In order to further my research and achieve a better grade overall, "primary research" is needed and thus is basically my own individual research into the topic, hence why I am here.
I would be very grateful if any of you could share your views on the following;

1.Which actor has portrayed James Bond the best and why?

2. Do you believe that our society & cultral beliefs (both past + present) have affected the James Bond films in any way, if so why?

3. Has Daniel Craig changed the portrayal of James Bond and created a new/different bond to that of the past, if so why?

Thankyou for taking the time to read this and as said above, if any of you could share your views on the following questions, It would be really helpful to me when I come to writing my research paper. Thanks again! :D

    1.Which actor has portrayed James Bond the best and why?

    IMO, Timothy Dalton. Because he took the character in a new darker direction.

    2. Do you believe that our society & cultral beliefs (both past + present) have affected the James Bond films in any way, if so why?

    N/A.

    3. Has Daniel Craig changed the portrayal of James Bond and created a new/different bond to that of the past, if so why?

    Not really. He is similar to Dalton's portrayal of Bond.

    If you're going to school than I imagine you have access to pro-quest historical newspapers in the databases of your school home page. There are tons of James Bond newspaper articles that focus on the performances of the actors. They would be great sources for your research paper.
