I honestly have no idea

Pierce Brosnan as a teenager worked as a fire-eater at an Irish circus. I'm almost positive that's what the question is eluding to.
Hot dang that thing is accurate!

Still, it's disturbing how much I'm allegedly like Timothy Dalton. The quiz I don't think was the greatest and could've been fine-tuned a little more (instead of asking about accents and non-Bond related stuff). Still, happy with being Roger the most, but shocked that Craig is the next most like me. And Dalton being third. X-(
I agree Hardy, the quiz really should've concentrated more on the Bond's characters and not the other random stuff. I'm sure there are better Bond quizzes out there, we'll just have to search for them!
And hopefully taity, that will not happen.
And JFF, when will the day come when making bad romancing Stacy won't be enough for youBond wise? I'd put Roger down as my favourite Bond, but I'd also say that I appreciate the darker Bonds.
Perhaps... never say never, right?
Question to you though, who do you consider "the dark Bonds"?
One thing that I disliked about Connery is that he did a great serious movie - FRWL. After Goldfinger, the plots got more and more outrageous. YOLT and DAF are too far fetched to even believe as being real. And yet for the entire time Connery plays it as if its deadly serious. My gripe is that you dont believe it. Compare this to Moore in MR - as stupid as the plot is, he looks like he's having a good time. He doesnt go for the intense dark behaviour - because it will clash with the rest of the film.
At least when Dalton came in and was serious, the script was too
Or what you might call a good Fridan night out, LR...
Roger Moore 1927-2017
LOL ) ... Sounds perfect
Moore always looked like he was having a good time, no matter which movie he appeared in, which I believe, is one of his greatest strengths as Bond or as an actor.
I agree about SC. Connery did a wonderful job in everything up to GF but all of the sudden it seemed like he just lost all of is umph. I mentioned in another thread that I didn't mind the "fat Bond" performance in DAF but that's all, I'd never praise it since it's only slightly less dour than the performances he gave in YOLT and TB.
I intensely dislike both Dalton and Craig and can almost find no positives with them. I will concede that I think TLD is an OK film but none of this is due to Dalton but to the enjoyable Jeroen Krabbe as Koskov, Barry's score, the beautiful locales (especially the airbase) and many of the action scenes were very well scripted. I found the plot intriguing but a little too confusing, Kara was a weak Bond girl (not even Maryam d'Abo seemed pleased with the final result), Whittaker being an almost nonexistent villain, etc.
Maybe I'll come around some day and appreciate these darker Bonds and their films but as it stands right now, they're toward the bottom of the barrel for me.
