    Thx ASP9mm (I like this guy..really...shame about his boxbrownie and photography skills.. :D )

    He's spot on....This escapade has been a nightmare from start to finish, and impossible for a true control freak like me to keep at a steady orderly pace...

    Once I'm sure we can get the flow going, I'll open the monetary floodgates...

    I'm hoping there should be some news early this week...stay tuned...

    Paul,

    I hope it wasn't TOO much of a nightmare for you! I was kinda curious to see what you would do for an encore. ;)

    Seriously... thanks once again for all the hard work!

    Is there a definitive answer about standard sizes and nametags?

    Thanks

    Measurements sent - I'd like my real name used in the tag (if possible), if not then my screen name is fine.

    Thanks again for all your troubles -{

    All-

    Just got my measurements done. I noticed that my tailor put me down for a '39 waist. My pants are normally about '34 (or '35 on a bad day), but he said this was how you measure for a shirt.

    Did everyone find this to be true?

    Not for me...for my shirt maker I give my accurate waist size since I wear my shirts "slim fit" or "fitted" as they call it...I don't like that muffin top look you get from Brooks Brothers shirts.

    So if you are a '34 waist for your pants, you gave a '34 waist for your shirt measurement?

    That's what I did.

    Speaking of temperature, and I'd never hold you to this, but do the organizers think these ****s will indeed be ready to go by this summer?

    Has anyone here had their measurements taken by a professional tailor then? I 've never had it done and I'm worried the shirt will end up feeling and looking a little tight. And just a query, how come the picture of the swatch sample is pink? The madagascar shirt is white is it not? Keep up the good work.

    I'm planing on going to my local tailor tomorrow to get my shoulder and back measurements. I am a little confused by the schematic. Maybe someone can help me out tonight. The shoulder to shoulder measurement...should it be to the outer edge of my shoulder or from bone to bone going east to west for lack of a better description?

    Thanks for helping a brother out!

    Mantis are you lurking this evening?

    One more question...should the chest measurement be regular or expanded? I'm a 42 and wear a 42 suitcoat in most cases but my expanded measurement is 43. Which should I be using?

    Has there been any word on standard sizes or of the cut of the shirt? I am concerned about spending the money for a shirt that I won't be able to try on beforehand. Tailoring an item is hard to do without the person to fit it on during the process.
    I think if questions about fit and cut are addressed, a lot of peoples worries would be alleviated.

    Thanks

    What's going on the label - screen name or real name? Where do we specify this? Can we have nothing at all?

    Just a quick question. Would love one of these shirts but there is no way I will be able to short of winning the lottery. Just wanting to know if there is anyway to get hold of offcuts if there are any to frame with my DC auto.

    No apologies necessary, ke02eww - I'm glad you are putting so much effort (and money ;) ) into this project. I'm sure it will be worth the wait -{
