    Paul,
I want the correct buttons. You don't have to do any refund for me. I can wait for the correct buttons - no problem. But if mine is already completed with the substituted buttons you can proceed with the delivery and follow up with the right buttons. Thank you for the updates and all the effort in this project,
    Kan

    Ditto this!

Maybe when we get our shirts, we can get a note with it indicating which buttons we have. I would be game to buy the correct buttons at a later date and have them switched.

    Well

considering all the time, trouble, and frustration everyone's sufferd with thsi project, I was bowled over by the support and understanding shown so far....

made me once again glad we've been trying to get this done...

    big thx.

In the meantime, let's give others the weekend to find the thread and chip in if they want to...

I thought a pic of the actual buttons would be honest and up front...

let me know if it changes anyone's mind.

Oh and of course you will be informed which buttons you have once you receive the shirt...

Does that shirt have the cuff bands and adjustment tabs on the arms?
  • The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters
    It absolutely does!

Cool, I was under the impression they weren't lining them up. Can't even see the seams.

I see now. On the left sleeve last pic, it looked like the inside of the back of the sleeve was showing, but it was the cuff. I've officially looked at this shirt too much.

Has there been a descision on whether to get the shirts shipped out this week? And impressive collection Mantis! I do though think you may have too much time on yours hands!

Strangely enough, Tallman, this doesn't take too much time at all....it's my version of building a ship in a bottle. I use the time to collect and display as down time.

Can anyone tell me which company made the original shirt in the movie? Or was it a one-off just for Casino Royale?

It was specially made by the same tailor that is making these. That is why this edition is so special and unique in the Bond collecting world.
