OHMSS

Can any of you Agents assist.. I would like to continue the collection and bring the wife on board... So my plan is to try and get her a ring similar to the wedding ring of Countessa Tracey, for her forthcoming birthday. Still my favourite Bond film.. If only Lazenby had been switched on like Agent D. Craig.. Oh by the way the whole family watched Casino Royale on DVD for the Christmas movie after the Queens speech. Some traditions must be upheld!!!

Have a great Christmas and New Year

A vendor on Ebay was selling one. Here is a link for an auction that has already closed. If you like the way it looks, I'm sure you can contact the vendor and get one.

Hmmm, I saw that ring on eBay the other day. It kind of looks chunky. As far as I know, shouldn't the words, "we have all the time in the world" be readable on the ring? Can someone like PoorMan validate here?

Matthewarmitage, now that I've sobered up a bit and had time for reflection, why would you want to buy your wife Tracy's ring? It's one thing if you want to buy it as a collectible and display it, but it's another to have your wife wear it. I look at it as a bad luck charm - it didn't exactly go well for Bond did it? The same goes for the Algerian Love Knot - another tragic event. Forgive me for being superstitious but I would suggest buying her something else, especially since it's her birthday.Just a thought!

That's silly, SpectreIsland. I'm pretty sure someone on this board actually used it as a wedding ring (was it Sir Miles?), and I think everything is still fine.

We Italians can be a superstitious bunch Night; I actually tend to agree with my brother's assertion as the ring and the knot both symbolize ultimately tragic relationships in Bond's life.

Thanks for the warning but the ring and necklace were not the issue.. Tracy was assasinated instead of Bond but evil killlers, as for Vesper she was blackmailed and forced to betray her man... I have seen this ring on Ebay and thought it was not particularly accurate. The rings released int he sixties as tie ins were in two metal colours and the line "We have all the time in the world" could be read.. Do you guys know of any of these or can give me the heads up where to get one???

I got married last year and my transport to the venue was in my mates new DB9 which I kicked the ass out of!!.. I wore a Gieves suit, Rolex and John Lobb shoes.. The classical music at the end of our service was "We have all the time in the world". Our tables were named after Bond villans and the first dance was to "Nobody does it better"... The honeymoon was to Thailand via Venice, we did James Bond island and other such sites.. No bad luck there guys and the wife was not taken out!!

Keep up all the banter and lets try for a big meet in the new year!!

    Wow....now tht's wht i call devotion.... :)

actually i sympathise, as i hv the bondcollection version and while perfect for display, unless ur wife wears knuckledusters, totally inappropriate for a beautiful ladies hand...

this is a clear hole in the market....

Nearly right - I used it as the basis for my wife's Eternity Ring. It cost an absolute fortune - far more than the rings 'actual' worth anyway.
I lost my wedding ring earlier this year - and I'm still alive to tell the tale ;) - and I had a new one made which has "We Have All The Time In The World" running around the edge.

It certainly hasn't been 'unlucky' for our marriage so far - we'll have been married 15 years next anniversary !

Maybe one of the allergy patients "found" and kept it as a memento. ;% All for Queen and Country of course, but good thing you managed to snap pics of the girls whereabouts before blowing up the place!

Wow Sir Miles sounds like another agent who knows how to treat a lady.... Could you mail me some photos and if its not to cheeky some details on the jeweller. I wouldlove to treat the wife and she is pretty cool re the whole hobby thing. Im still working on the funds for the Aston maybe I would get a OHMSS circa DBS..

On the subject if Agent Craig is going on to do further films maybe we could have a variant on the OHMSS tragedy and maybe a new Countessa ... Possibly Rachael Stirling, Diana Riggs daughter.. Although Catherine Zeta Jones or Kate Beckinsale are still on my short list!! Then Bond could go rogue and in another follow up film take out the culprits...Staunch stuff.. He could even liase with his Langley chum Bourne who obviously Bond had either trained or been on operations with in Afghanistan..or Iran when they have their Nuclear "accident" if you get my drift..

Lets have plenty of skiing and get back to those pre titles sequences which used to make the whole experience of this series so thrilling..Blah, blah, blah ...
