Slow day at work, so while killing time I came across this list of 10 movies to watch in 2008. Bond 22 did not make the list, The Dark Knight did so Rogue should be happy. The Brozzer gets a mention for appearing in Mama Mia with Meryl Streep. Of the movies listed Wall-e, The Dark Knight and Indiana Jones are the only ones the got my interest. Enjoy

EDIT - Just discovered they have 10 additional movies listed after the first 10 and Bond appears in that list. The second 10 has some good ones, Chronicles of Narnia I loved the first one, and Wanted with Angeline Jolie. Saw a trailer for Hancock (also listed), the new Will Smith movie, and it turned me off.

Unless the trailer was totally misleading and they completely botch it, I'm still thinking Iron Man could be the breakthru hit of the summer as it has all the elements to attract greying genre buffs like myself as well as younger moviegoers.
As somebody who grew up on Star Trek, this latest incarnation has really sparked my curiosity as everybody involved seems to have a good attitude and is channeling all the right energy into the film. The original series had a profound impact on me so, if only for nostalgia's sake, I hope they can recapture that magic and make Trek accessible for a new generation of fans.
I was hopeful for Mamma Mia until I saw the trailer. Now I'm not so sure
I'm shocked that after the huge box office success & critical success of Casino Royale that it didn't make the author's top 10 list; Craig isn't the be-all-end-all when I think of Bond but it was a great movie regardless. Funny that it's listed more of an honorable mention...
I'm not really sold on Star Trek for obvious reasons 8-) so I'll just wait until more concrete footage is given over the months as to how that'll shape up.
At least the summer's going to be a cashcow for Bats, Indy and Iron Man. B-)
Although I'm a little OD'ed on Shia LeBeouf being in everything... hasn't he infringed on my generation enough?

There will be a teaser trailer to Star Trek in front of Cloverfield, JJ Abrams' new movie that will be premiering January 18. From what I've heard, we'll definitely get to see the re-imagined Enterprise, and possibly our first glimpse at some of the characters. I wouldn't be surprised if a pic or two pops up between now and then but that will be the first litmus test for this new incarnation of Trek.
The Enterprise looks great as it is...even after 40 years. That design is just too stapled in ST lore to tinker with much.
As for the characters...there's two that I know won't make an appearance and might jade the whole effect for me... but we'll see... 8-)
