    Hi,

I just ordered mine from Magnoli and was wondering how long did it take to get it?

About a month. You'll love it, it's a great jacket.

I have plan to get it for a few months but was esceptic about the quality. But after getting the ties, I realized that I had to pull the trigger.

I'm going to aim to take some pics of it with my digital camera tonight. I've been putting it off for a long while but since you revived the thread I may as well. :)

cpoulos, how did yours turn out?

Those of you that own this, could you post some pics of you actually wearing it? I'd like to see how it fits.
    Thanks

This jacket at Banana Republic cuts a similar figure to the Armani one.

I've just received my jacket from Magnoli, and I am very pleased. It fits great and looks greater!

For those ordering, take measurements from a close fitting jacket you own, and alter the overall length measurement so that it will fall just above your beltline. Magnoli will work his magic and it will fit like a charm. {[]

I know this is an oldass thread, but I found on Bonham's a pic of a previously auctioned armani leather jacket used in CR.

    http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.sh/pubweb/publicSite.r?sContinent=EUR&screen=LotDetails&iSaleItemNo=3785443&iSaleNo=15765&iSaleSectionNo=1&sServer=http://images1.bonhams.com/&sPath=2007-12/07/7578225-1-1.jpg

Use the flash zoom feature, it lets you really get in close.

Comparing the two, Magnoli really did an awesome job. If I were to re-order, I'd ask for one or two minor changes having seen this version. Certainly nothing I'm losing sleep over with my current jacket.

Later, I'm going to try and distress my jacket a little bit in the same manner as the screen used one. :)

P.S. This should also prove once and for all the jacket was NOT black!

Great (oooooold)thread, and I'm just about to push the button on a jacket from Indy.

Anyone that has one, I take it dark brown lambskin is the one to go for. And did anyone choose the distressed, or lightly distressed finish to the leather?

    Thanks.

    Expat,
I think if there's any distressing, it's mainly on the strip of leather which runs along with the zippers. You can see on the screen-used version (and sruzgar's) that they have sort of a cross-hatch distressing.

And yea, dark brown lambskin is the one to go for. You won't regret it - I always get compliments on how it. :)

Just need to checkmeasurements a 2nd time and Im done.

    Thank you! -{
