Hi,
Happy New Year to you all !!!
I am here as a new member and would really and really need your help with this slightly odd request.
Within one of the James Bond films of which I'm virtually 100% sure that it is one with either Sean Connery or Roger Moore in, there is a scene of around five-ten seconds of an aeroplane landing which is a British Caledonian DC-10 as pictured in the two links below. (sorry for the long links!)
I remember it landing at a very similar angle to the pictures linked below and would suspect that it was related to Bond going to Brazil or somewhere in South America as they serviced this continent very heavily in the late 70's and 80's before the airline went into a takeover in around 1990.
Here are the pictures of the exact same livery as in the film:

I would really appreciate your assistance as my late father worked for this company from start to finish flying on this type of aircraft before he retired and it would be great to see that footage again as I do remnember seeing it years ago while watching a James Bond movie.
Sorry for the strange request but this would really help me out so I needed to contact the specialists !
Many thanks in advance,

The clue is in your statement that British Caledonian served Brazil during the late 1970's.
I seem to remember the typical stock airliner landing scene from that film, annoucing that Bond had arrived.
I'm fairly certain this was Moonraker.
Hope that helps.;)

Hope it helps as well (had a few of my dads mates who were Bcal as well as Dan Dair pilots)
In Live And Let Die, Bond is arriving in New York on this plane. There's smooth music, and a woman reading out her Tarot card predictions: "He brings... death!" In NSNA, Bond is arriving in the Bahamas.
You can see footage of the second film if you google 'Never Say McClory Again' - there's a guy who's taken clips from the films and redubbed music over it from other Bond movies. You'll find, I believe, the clip of that one.
Roger Moore 1927-2017

And it's going to Nice in France, not Bahamas!

Wow, Thank you all very much for your replies, especially Napoleon Plural who has got the clip spot on !!!
This would have taken forever to find so I really appreciate all your help and thank you again very very much !
Take care,
The G.
You can pick up a cheap copy of NSNA, paired with the rubbish unofficial Bond Casino Royale from 1967, at HMV for about £7 I believe.
NSNA isn't held to be a great Bond film by purists. You could maybe buy the Never Say McClory Again DVD on the site I directed you towards, it's rescored but still way short of a masterpiece. The guy who does it takes paypal. I haven't got it myself, but it must be better in many ways than the official DVD.
