Seriously - is the only evidence we have Variety Magazine's report?
CBN is throwing this information around very confidently - I need more proof to believe that this is definite
Ooh- and a character name too: 'Camille'
Okay, how about an official Eon press release.

So would I. Variety shouldn't be confused with tabloid newspapers and magazines. It's a solid publication and has been for decades; it just happens that its subject matter is entertainment rather politics or world affairs.
Thanks for the link, zencat! The ball is definitely rolling. I must admit that the actress they have selected has gone against my pre-conceptions about women named 'Olga'
I still am not impressed with the villian's monicker of 'Green'. As Hardyboy mentioned, the idea of baddies named after colors has been done.
One of the articles questions whether she will still be playing a Latina, despite her Ukranian heritage...based on looks, I'd say she can 'sell it' :007)

Definitely- in a series where a 'Greek' woman can say 'Thay keeled ma parontz!' in an overwhelming French accent, an Englishman has a Scots accent, and Vesper has... well, whatever that accent was (!), I reckon she can pass for Latino if she wants!
I think I'd probably let her do anything she wants, actually...
What I hope is that we dont get another Tiffany Case, who Bond develops a relationship with but doesnt hold a candle to the love of his life who just died.
Yeah- the press release says:
Not much room for doubt there!
I like that idea, although they don't look like they are related. Olga is GORGEOUS.:x I hope she is as good an actress as Eva Green.
Disagree there. I thought it was good that Bond didn't have another "major love of his life" right after Tracy died. His first post-Tracy relationship was just going to be a shallow diversion for him and Tiffany fit the bill perfectly. I think it will be bad for Craig's Bond if he "falls in love" with every leading lady in each of his Bond films. It makes the Tracys and Vespers less special and significant in his character's life if he meets women just like them in every film.
She doesn't look like a lawn mower, and has Craig and Forster and Haggis to help out.
It is interesting that Eon seem to be stuck on brunettes lately...

How 'bout now?
Me either Barry. But for what it's worth, I do find her more attractive than Eva Green.
It should be interesting to see just how close Bond gets to this one, given the circumstances with Vesper.

If they had cast Aphrodite Herself, I suspect there'd be no pleasing everyone
But, like the last one, she works for me :x Exotic and stunning...just the ticket :007)

Or should that be lecherer?
Ye gads, it's a Cheeky Girl! Why not get the duo to do the theme song! "You are a Cheeky Bond, you are a cheeky bond!"
Agreed, they're stuck on brunettes. A dirty blonde would be nice. These two don't do it for me... sorry luvs, you're just not my type.

I think she has the nicest body of a bond girl for a while, this is shaping up to be a great film!
