HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU SEE CASINO ROYALE?

Just for fun.....how many times did you see CR before you lost count?
I went to the UK premier in Leicester Square, just to celeb spot! Couldn't see anyone because of the tall fences they put up.
I then saw it at my local cinema on the following day and the day after then again at the weekend. Took a mate from work the second week. That was four times, all at the cinema.
Managed to acquire a priate copy the following week which stayed on permanently after that, when I clearly lost count!
So, to summarise I saw CR four times initially.

One nearly worn out DVD and working on wearing out a Blu-ray disc!
Bond’s Beretta
The Handguns of Ian Fleming's James Bond
But that's only complete viewings. Impossible to count how many times I've watched the first ten minutes, or a scene here or there... ;%
I never tire of hearing Bond ask Mendel: "You didn't bring any chocolates?"
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
What skills of observation! This exchange never fails to bring a chuckle. It's alot like the look on Bond's face when Vesper says "I suppose you've given some thought to the notion that if you loose, our goverment will have directly financed terrorism." That too - for me at least is priceless.
Those may be two of the Best exchanges in the film!!!

The dinner scene after winning the money is my fav, I get goosebumps each time I watch it, and I genrally always make myself a vesper as well! -{
For me, it felt about as official as NSNA, and don't get me going on the reboot issue again...
Wow

Bride Of Barbel pointed out to me, "You can tell he's meant to be Swiss- he speaks French in one scene and German later!" )
On-topic- 3 times in the cinema (Son Of Barbel fell asleep the second time at a midnight screening!) and at least six on DVD.
Forgive me if this has been pointed out before, but there are definite differences between the theatrical and DVD versions. For one, during the torture scene Le Chiffre slings his knotted rope over Bond's shoulder after commenting on how Bond has kept his body in shape. "What a waste" is the line. This doesn't happen in the UK DVD. I'm fairly sure some of the stairwell fight has been altered as well.
I guess my logic is this: If I watch CR enough times, I'll eventually find something to like about it. :v

I don't doubt what you're saying, Barbel, but I'm wondering why anyone would want to alter that stuff for the UK DVD?
You're right, Barbel.
It's a pity about the UK truncated stairwell fight because, seen in it's entirety, it's rather fine
* 3 times in cinema
* about 500 times on dvd lol
and hopefully many times for 'Quantum Of Solace'
I've seen it quite a lot.

He's fine- we exchanged a couple of PMs the other day and he says he's been very busy recently but will be back.

1. The midnight premier screening at Leicester Square, London. By myself.
2. The day after at Leicester Square, London. With my Mum as we were on holidays together.
3. The Wednesday night premier at Melbourne Central, Australia. With my twin brother.
4. The weekend after the Australian premier. With my fiancee (now wife).
And at least 3 more times on DVD.

I would've seen the film four times in theatres except when my wife (then fiancee) and I went to the dollar theatre about four months after CRs release to see it we got to the line for tickets and she said she wasn't sure if she was up to watching it again. Still wanting to see a movie she mentioned Babel. We got into the theatre and sat down, it was abnormally and uncomfortably hot in the theatre for Babel and I offhandedly joked that the theatre for CR would be nice and cool. She went to the restroom and upon her return remarked that she checked the CR theatre and sure enough I was right. I said, "of course I was right." :007)
Soon enough the entire theatre was filled to the brim and there wasn't an empty seat in the Babel theatre, making it all the more hot. Not only that, but the movie was a depressing 2 hour jaunt through the depths of human misery which neither my wife or I enjoyed. In the end it taught us an important lesson: YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WATCHING A BOND FILM IN THEATRES. {[]
