what happened to Spectre Island ?
we last see it in FRWL. then what? and better still what happened to Spectre it wouldn't just end, it would pass on to number 2, second in command, all those henchmen with no jobs!

    Spectre Island, what a wonderful idea that was never heard of in the movies again! Somewhere in the Med, wasn't it?

    As to what happened to the organisation itself, read John Gardner's books for later developments... (no spoilers)

    I think all the henchmen went to work for Dr. Evil, and the island was sold to a hotel chain.

    My guess is that it is now a private estate for a wealthy lord...OR THE ORGANISATIN'S NEW BASE! maybe
