Shouldn't this be in the off topic section? Also, there's a similar topic in the off tpoic section:

Easy. Nothing, not even any Bond movie, will ever beat Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Let's see, what else? I love the first and third Mission Impossible films (MI2 was pretty weaksauce). The Bourne films are fantastic. Can't think of any other really good ones at the moment.

That's an ancient thread that's been untouched in five years. But otherwise you're right--this is an Off-Topic topic, so off it goes!

Any of the Bourne movies, or the Indiana Jones movies would get my vote.

Without a doubt it's the Indy films.
(Along with the likes of Bourne and Die Hard)

I'd say the Indy movies, Die Hard (yes all 4 of them), all the Leathal Weapon films, the Bourne movies, driving miss daisy ;) (just seeing if your paying attention), the matrix triolgy all 6 Star Wars movies, Independence Day. I think you get the idea.

One of the problems with a topic like this is defining action films. I don't consider Raiders to be an action film, and nor do I consider most of the Bond films to be action films.

So, when asked about the greatest action film of all time, I would nominate without any hesitation Die Hard. :D Easily the most influential action film ever made, I would argue that 20 years on, it is as magnificent as ever, and that it remains the greatest of all action films. {[]

BTW, asio, I too am a massive fan of Enter The Dragon and I regard it as an absolute masterpiece. :D I just don't consider it to be an action film. ;) (I would describe it purely as a martial arts film and for that matter the greatest martial arts film of all time. :D)

Great Escape, Bullitt, Dirty Harry. I'll think of a ton more.
