Well I always like to do a prototype with Magnoli first in order to catch any errors and make tweaks (the copper tie was particularly challenging, but I like how that turned out :) ). Once its approved he makes a full batch. All in all it should take about a month and a half?

Great... great... great... can you post pics or patterns of the available material that you have to wet my appetite?

So it might be the DAD blue circles tie...please count me in for two ties. And thanks for your good work...

I might initiate the process to get the DAD blue circle tie going. I have what I need to get that going with Magnoli, whereas the pipeline tie is a bit of a headache right now...

    Urash (or anyone)

Are you able to post a photo of the DAD blue circles tie?

    Cheers :)

A Craig era polo exists... it's made by Sunspel, it's great and it's the real McCoy. If it is not fitted enough for you, go to the tailor's with it and have it fixed to your specs and let Magnoli work on things that are not already available in the market like the Bond ties which is the topic of this thread. So please let's get back to talking about ties and start a different topic if you are into fitted polos.
I just purchased a dark grey with light blue pinstripes suit and would love to wear it with the DAD blue tie with circles. So once again, here are my choices for tie projects for Magnoli:
    1. CR red rain tie
    2. DAD blue circles tie
    3. TWINE red pipeline tie
I understand the red pipeline tie is already in the works... but what's next?
    Anyone know?
By the way, I wore the blue grid tie from the Greene party scene with a navy suit at work today and got all kinds of compliments on it... well done Magnoli!

First and foremost, leave your attitude at the door.

Secondly, I'm well aware of the Sunspel polo. Furthermore, not only is it difficult to acquire in any country, it's even more difficult to acquire in the US.

Finally, the Sunspel polos start at a 38 chest. A lot of men are slimmer with smaller chests; good luck finding a tailor who will do major surgery on a polo. Adjusting the shoulder measurements, shortening the sleeves, the length, the fit.... It's not going to happen.

Basically, I don't see why you need to be in such a pissy mood for suggesting something other than tie, which, by the way, there are many of.

And, if you'd take the time to actually read my latter post, you'd see my response to another comment that would have answered your questions and given you a second to think before you made such a rude post.

Manners hard to come by around here?

This is one of the most incorrect posts I've ever read. Firstly, ordering directly from Sunspel is incredibly EASY in the US, I've done so many times. Secondly, I'm a slim size 36 and the small fits perfectly - it is one of the slimmest, best fitting polos for very thin men I've ever tried on. Thirdly, most tailors will have no problems working on a polo.

Yes the red train tie on CR would be great! I mentioned this a few months back on another tie topic here i believe.
I would ask you if you could remain emotionally detached. But I don't think that's your problem is it Bond?

    No

I suppose it's not one of the more popular choices in this thread, but I'd love to see Magnoli take on the beautiful champagne-coloured necktie from the "Arrival in La Paz" scene in QoS. I ordered the Montenegro & Quantum ties last month, & now I'm hooked!

Isn't this one in the pipeline with Magnoli? Or did I dream that one up? I'm sure someone mentiond it on the forum not long ago. Be very nice if it was on the horizon :)

    Hello friends!

I have two ties for sale (DAD blue tie and TWINE Themsen tie). These are the GENUINE Turnbull & Asser (bought them in 2006) hand made ties and not some Magnoli/China produced copies.
These are both in mint conditon (have never been worn, 10/10) and comes with an T&A bag.

If you are interested please PM me.
    Very handy...

"Some Magnoli produced copies" would be the point of this thread. While I appreciate that you are trying to distinguish what you are selling as the genuine original (although in the totally wrong thread), there is generally high regard in this forum for the work Magnoli produces. Owning several T&A ties myself, I find Magnoli's ties to be of equally high quality. And for the record, they are also hand made from woven silk (you seemed to be implying that somehow the Magnoli ties were not).
