    I would love to Ale!! Ringing in 2011 with Pierce would be so lovely! And with you too! Happy New Year!! -{

    How was your Christmas? I already have all the Bond DVDs, but I did receive the Remington Steele DVDs this year which I've never owned! That show was almost Bondian in so many ways, it's really ironic what a rehearsal for Bond it was for Pierce!

    Anyway I digress, hope my fellow Bond Girls are having wonderful holidays!

    Monique! So what are we waiting for? Let's do it! Would be great to spend New Year's together, PLUS Pierce and Henry. Happy New year to you too!! -{

    Christmas was great. And NOOOO Remington Steele DVDs, I'm jealous! Sigh, I miss that show. Oh yeah it was pure Bond on many occasions... And Pierce DID rehearse for Bond in that one. I rewatched Goldeneye (AGAIN, second time in a week). Gawd, he is so hot. Ahem I don't mean it as in not giving Henry the deserved attention or stealing Pierce from you of course. But you know how much I've always loved Pierce :))

    Hope you're having a great time!! :D But, would be better with me, Pierce and Henry ;% :v :))

    Well, Allessandra, I've been a member for a few years but I don't post that often. I will soon remedy that. Oh, sorry I misread your name and called you M!6 instead of Allessandra. All that shoveling must have made me light-headed. I plan being much more active in the future.

    Ahh sounds great! You're always welcome to this thread of course, as all gentlemen are! :D Haha, shoveling is no good for the mind (or the arms, well though it does make one's biceps more toned ;%), and no worries of course.

    Feel free to join in the Bond girl-ness of this thread, we (Bond girls) "aim to please" as someone would say. Oh, Pierce... happy new year to you too, wherever you are! Ahem, Mo? Something tells me if I find you, I'll find him :))

    Why, hello, you incorrigible James Bond redux! :))

    I had seen this photo elsewhere, and she has definitely lost weight. Alongside whatever little there was of her Bond girl class, it appears? :)) Oh well. She definitely looks good in those hot pants, so kudos to her for having reached great form :D

    Hello Alessandra,

    who cares about Bond girl class as long as the hot pants are as hot as they are seen :D
    Well, I am only talking for the male community here, but I am sure, that Rick Roberts would have a different point of view here again :v.

    Now a serious question to all of you styling experts:
    gemma-arterton-tamara_drewe.jpg

    After clearing my sight with all that nudity, legs and tiny pants :s, I often have the feeling, that she's not only wearing a wig in many of her pics, I would say, she's wearing a very bad one.
    Am I totally wrong here?

    :)) :)) :v you are a naughty boy! :)) :v

    My class comment was for Bond girls. Clearly for the type of role she's playing in that specific movie, this is the outfit she should have. She is supposed to look a tad tacky. So all's fine. And as I said, she sure wears the hot pants fine :))

    :)) :)) :)) I have read somewhere about styling and stuff for her but I can't remember. In this specific photo I wouldn't say she's wearing a wig. I'd say that's her hair. It's just that she has a BAD stylist :)) I also think she is supposed to look like someone from the 80s or around that time so that's why the hairstyle looks so "bloated" and all hairspray-like. That was the fashion (I and the girls sure know something about that, having experienced it :)) ) The clothes look 80s style too. Waist of the jeans is too high and that tank top is not cut to show the waist, but all straight.

    I can't remember exactly when the movie is set, but I think that's the case. If it's set nowadays... then that's badly styled hair :)) I don't think this is one of the worst cases though. And all things considered, she looks way better here than she did in QoS :o

    :)) :)) :)) :))

    It doesn't show much of the rest either! :v

    What I mean is it could be more flattering to her figure, and in the80s they just made those straight, unless one wore one of those so-called bodysuits which were all made with stretched fabric, so a tad better even when cut straight. Basically, you'd see MORE if it was cut the way I'm saying. See, we girls know how to stand out :v (unless we pick dresses the way Gemma does without a best friend consulting, as Steph often very rightly says! :)) )

    Ah, the good times in the watercooler :)) Hello Blueman! :D Happy New Year to you too! :D

    Monique, no you aren't crazy. I think it looks too "I've used too much hairspray and had a dip in the 80s" but it certainly isn't the worst. She's had WAY worse in the past. And as I said, she sure looks fine in those hot pants! :D She looks much better there than she did as a Bond girl, that's for sure. Which speaks volumes for the BAD costume and makeup department...

    :)) Pen, it's ok. :)) I wear jeans and hoodie too. Not wearing them right now, but I definitely do when I'm around the house or travelling to the gym or doing something that requires very casual attire :D so you know, that isn't bad at all per se :D It would be bad if you wore that at a Bond party at the casino :))

    LOL well then it's fine :)) But Bond would be fancy Casino and dinner. Dress required my dear. yeah even if you don't imagine it, you WILL get to wear it. And may I add? You're going to enjoy it :)) (especially if Sir Sean accompanies you :v)

    :)) :))

    Man, Clash of the Titans is bad. I agree she looks very good in it though. And I agree with you that AFTER the Bond role she has much improved. I still find her incredibly insignificant and un-stylish as Bond girl. But, those hot pants are good on her :)) LOL about the theme songs. For me on those it depends. If I hate something on first hearing, there's no going back. I've played the piano since I was 5, I am very much of a music person. I pick up on it immediately. I can warm up to something I deem so and so at first, but something I hate on first hearing, there's no going back. There's also stuff I like at first that then becomes so and so. In short, I'm impossibly demanding :))

    Pen, tsk tsk tsk! Where is your Bond girl planning? You MUST wear heels especially in your case, because if you fall, Sir Sean will catch you! :v And, you'll have an excuse to only walk while holding on to his arm, or you'll fall down ;% This is girl flirting planning 101! :)) :))

    Producer, director, writer, board op, wrangled some of the props, made some of the scenery, figured out the song cues for those dance numbers - waaaaay too many hats but I had some nice support plus lucked out finding an awesome leading lady, made it all worth while, working with her on another show (just a play reading) right now. Plus she got a terrific review here. Was very exhausting, but fun. :s :) Well, had to do something with my time waiting for the next Bond film to be released. :D

    That is outstanding! Really remarkable, and that video really was funny. The girl DID look really good in the part. I bow to your hard work, the result paid off! Way to go, Blueman! {[]

    Pen: :)) :)) Even more so, you're totally wearing heels :v Only walk while holding on to his manly arm, and all that. :D

    In other news, anyone seen the Gerard Butler "making of" ad for L'Oréal? I am shocked. As in, they didn't even try to pretend, they flat out used Bond music for it. Mr Butler sure looks damn fine in it. I wouldn't want him for Bond now, but man. Hot. Stylish. Bondian. In that ad at least. Not the rest of the time, and again, wouldn't want him. But I gotta say it if I see it :)) It's anyhow a very good example of style for us Bond girls. And, the girl is very Bond girl as well. May the Bond costume department for once take a look and take notes? 'cause yeah us Bond girls? NOT happy with how outfits have been handled in the past couple of movies. Or make-up for that matter. (one was good, and that was Caterina Murino. She lasted what, three minutes? :)) ).Take notes. Then start watching all Bond movies up until TWINE, and JUST the bikini scene with Halle Berry in DAD (sorry Halle, didn't like the rest.) Memorize. And then do it with the new Bond girls! That is how they're supposed to look and most of all that's the style they're supposed to have!
