As in, I could tell Roman etc pottery because our yards are FULL of it and I've seen so much of it ) But not much else, and it's great to be able to put our history together through stuff that was indeed what thousands of years ago people used everyday (or anyway stuff they had in their houses). Interesting about native Americans being your focus.
I have studied quite a lot of the Ancient Egyptians in my day but I need to refresh the lesson... Mr Cavill has a vested interest in Egyptology (that is one of the two things he would have done if he hadn't been an actor. you should get a copy of The Book of the Dead...I've got one with the hieroglyphs, the Arabic and English translations...man, what a fun read! a great look into funerary rites...
