As for the message at hand, yes, I agree with most of what Dame Judy says - I can't help but think that being a woman has it's benefits. We can get away with allsorts - and a smile can work wonders.....

I believe they would have carried out the message way more seriously and effectively had Bond just been himself. In fact, nobody is talking about women's equality rights, and everyone is talking about the drag, inevitable result when you do something like that.

And I do not like the fact that M seems to humiliate Bond either. That is not equality, that's a woman behaving just as badly as men do when they bully or discriminate women.
All the above said, something must be done about that dress. What the HELL goes on in the head of costume designers for Bond? Not only I haven't liked HIS attires at all in the past two movies, but also Bond girls have been sorely lacking in elegance, class and refinement. And Bond in drag, well, the least he should wear is Armani Privé! ) That dress looked like something taken from a market stand in the pile of 3 for 20 euros deals. )
