Hi there! Thank you for the welcome back! I thought about you as I saw the "news" for the potential new Bond girl. I am all for casting out of the box but this one seems strange to me, what say you Mr Blackleiter? And what say the Bond girls and Bond gentlemen here about that?
    Hey alle welcome back....

You know what Lennon said, life is what happens while your busy making other plans...

The cooler runs dry while ur away....

Btw, let me guess .... Wimbledon?

I'm sure you can imagine how I feel about MY BOY Feliciano Lopez taking on Andy Murray tomorrow :)) :)) (I can't stand Murray regardless of this, the thought he will most likely win against my beloved Feli, or Deliciano as Murray's mother calls him and deservedly, makes me furious!! X-( I will throw a party if Feli wins :)) )

Ah, too kind Sir, too kind! I wouldn't want to scare off the viewers you know? There's Daniel Craig putting ME off and I really wouldn't want to render the same service to the male audience :))

I am not moved by any of those names either so far. Hopefully they will manage to come up with a good one. And quick, because they're incredibly late with everything for Bond 23, it's just bizarre.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :))

    Murray beat that motherf********!

Hey, stop rubbing it in! :)) it was the most likely result anyway, I did say so! :)) AND he's not a motherf... don't you know that Murray's mother loves him? He's truly delicious... both in terms of looks AND in terms of being a really fun guy :x (I've met him in person more than once... dude is a a big hit among women with good reason! LOL)

:)) that was my thought, too! He's got Nadal next. Both aren't in top form due to injuries... so could go either way.

LOL I like her dress. I think both the Duchess and her sister are really, really beautiful ladies. And I love the style of both. That red dress is very cute by the way. So is the bag she has with it. Boyfriend ain't bad but I think he'll be soon replaced by someone with... higher standing in the Royal court? :))
Deuce of an idea BL, alle gets my vote... :p

Both of you are way too generous... I'd never want for Bond fans to flee away from theaters scared :))

Oh surely... he's playing more confidently and he is more focused.. I think it's because he's learnt to only have ONE girl at a time :)) :)) (which means, next one is going to be ME of course :)) )

Well, I think the actual final (Djoko/Nadal) is what should have been. N.1 vs N.2, except without Federer it's not as much fun. Rooting for Nole, but I won't cry if Nadal wins. :D

And pips other "accessory " looked just that in the pic, fresh out of Eton and in need of mum to dress him.... Bless....

Have to agree with nap. - pip looks papped...

:)) you guys are TERRIBLE! Pippa just has more interesting men to deal with I guess? :D The tennis was great... seeing Djokovic win was pure awesomeness! He truly deserved it.

Boys will be boys Ale, ( unless they're supposed to be Eton men... Wherein they are simply school boys...)
If he's more interesting than even bond toys, I'll eat my straw boater... :v

But I was pleased for you that djoko won - know what a soft spot u have for him....

Time to put out an apb on mon perhaps?

I know BT misses the regular discussion on womans matters.. :007)

As do I of course, though I suspect I'll cope with denial far better than 2-tonics... B-)

Actually with no bond film, the footie season still a month away and basketball on strike as well as NFL, I could really do with a dose of stilettos and handbags....

    Bring it on .... :007)

I am sorry for my continuous absence but I really am having one HELL of a few months in terms of work and being generally busy. Now. Let's talk about it. There's absolutely no official announcement on ANY Bond girl whatsoever, but people keep bringing up that Harris rumor. My problem with it is this: I don't think she's Bond girl material. She doesn't have the class and looks a Bond girl is supposed to have. And my more general problem is that they KEEP casting girls who aren't Bond girl material, AND they don't even dress them appropriately in the movies. I think only Kurylenko was up to par in terms of the last few ones, and even so the character ended up being underused and quite insignificant because of how they made things work in the movie.

I think it's time for us Bond girls to rebel :)) Seriously, how is it possible that we can't see the drop dead gorgeous, CLASSY, elegant Bond girls that made the franchise what it is? (Yes they did because a good Bond girl is as important as a good James Bond for the movie to work). I'll leave the question there for us to ponder.

Meantime, I just got myself a new pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes (on SUPER sale :)) ) I am ONE HAPPY Bond girl :D

Alessandra - Put up some examples. I noted that Carmen Ejogo played a Moneypenny style secretary in The Avengers. This was in the Moneypenny thread I believe. I think she would be a lot better than Naomie Harris. Although, I haven't seen Carmen Ejogo in anything recently.

well, it's fairly new to me too... I have rather large feet... and so high heels were rather tricky/ redundant for me... being so tall anyway, but then I thought, f*ck it, if I'm already taller than most men, then I might as well do it well !!

It is an art though.... ;)

(You know, DC loves converse.... has over 50 pairs apparently :)) )

Ha, that is so funny, the pair I had was red too...

I remember my dad thinking it was so funny that converse were back in fashion, (in the late 80's) he still had his from 20 years previously - I think it was the only time I considered borrowing his shoes... :)) :))

my mom always laughs when I get a new pair, and then goes on about how they used to be the only athletic shoes that people could get :P

    just came back from Milano.

A friday night on the plaza in front of the duomo and I had the impression, that the heel height has a minimum limit of 15 cm, together with some borderline short skirts.

    :o
