I'm not a huge lover of the perfect Hollywood smile, flawless complexion etc. That sounds a bit daft, but the girl above is refreshingly girl-next-door. She's pretty - I hope she has a sparky, rude sense of humor in real-life! I could imagine her kicking on some clothes, tying her hair back and hoping into her date's car to go wherever - not taking four hours to get ready, being pissed off that the date didn't include a celebrity chef's restaurant and not wanting to get her make-up or lipstick smudged...

While she is not what I was hoping for as she is very much in the mould of recent choices she is very cute and appealing. She came across well at the press conference as a kind of kooky girl next door which I found charming.
glad that it worked ;% at least to bring you back to here.
Regarding her teeth, I came to the same conclusion over the last days. I find her pretty cute and the un-perfectness of her smile makes her very attractive.
I find, that her hair needs a good trim and we disagree on the dress. I know the golden rule with cleavage and legs, but she did not show extreme cleavage and it would not have hurt, if at least her skirt was over her knees imho.
I don't demand legs like Gemma Arterton on the premiere :x (which is still one of my favourites :x ) but the length of her dress reminds me more to Queen Elisabeth than to a Bond girl.
I think, that we need a fashion consultant! Alessandra, where are you?
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I kind of like Berenice (though there seems to be something odd with her teeth
and her hair looks a bit "home-styled" and too much) but what where they thinking with that dress?
And the shoes?
The dress is plain boring, too long, too unsexy - not at all Bondgirl-like!
Was that dress picked also by L. Frogley, then we must expect the worst for Skyfall.
) )
Markus, are you trying to start up a critique of this outfit for us to start a discussion??? You are sweet....
So as you have taken the time to think this through... I'll give you my opinion
Her smile is refreshing.... yes she has a bit of a overlap with her teeth - and no doubt she has been asked/offered to sort it out - but I think it's great that she isn't totally 'perfect' - all of those Hollywood smiles are just so fake.... and although having nice teeth is important in films.... it's nice to see a bit of a crooked smile!
Her hair doesn't look so much as home styled - that 'out of bed' look is really in at the moment. It's more the fact that her hair is out of condition. Too much styling over the years.... too many products and styling tools. This gives it this slightly brittle - un shiny look. A good trim would help... and a good conditioning treatment would be advisable as well.
I like the dress - although the colour is a bit off on her.... a slightly darker red would have worked better.... but the style of the dress is also bang on trend. Remember, you either show off cleavage - OR legs, never both at the same time... and the below the knee cut is v.on trend too.
The shoes - You are right. They are very Moneypenny - practical is the word. They could have been a few inches higher (but prob not allowed.... with DC - bless) but Black????? Not very imaginative. A contrasting colour would have worked... with accessories to match.
There!
Is that what you wanted ) ) !!
Wow.....Lexi you just reminded Old two-tonics why he should stick to watches...
You make a compelling case as ever Lexi, especially the comment on a darker coloured dress....
In fact eon press conferences tend to be "conventional" affairs when it comes to clothes; could it be reverence to Babs and Judi who are always business like....?
Have to say, one word sums up Ms Marlohe; French ....
I think, that we need a fashion consultant! Alessandra, where are you?
...no, you just want someone to agree with you )
I may not be the girl with the greatest of fashion wardrobes, but I like this understated look. It's more like... "let's not give the boys 'everything' I have in the first showing...." (you have an imagination surely Bondtoys...)
It's like a nice prezzie.... wrap it up in beautiful paper - and let the pleasure lie in the unwrapping....

That may be one of the biggest misunderstandings between men and women!
We blokes are simple: No need to waste wrapping paper. Present - that's it!
Ah well Markus, that is where we will always disagree!
I know that anticipation is a very effective aphrodisiac.....waiting.... wanting.... and being patient it is the key to true satisfaction.
Instant gratification is so overrated - trust me, I've experienced both - the one that is infinitely more enticing, and ultimately more fulfilling, is where you have to wait.....

- when I see a future Bondgirl fully wrapped: Am I willing to wait and pay at the box office, or does it turn me pff and I won't consider the movie anymore
Like I have said, Lexi: I don't find her cleavage overly "disclosing" or aphrodisiatic to justify such a long skirt.
But one thing is for sure: I'll wait for you for a veeeeeeeeery long time :v

The dress is fine....and the colour is right for her....the length is also good for her too...her legs don't look particularly great from those pictures - I know, I'm sorry I've stooped so low as to judge her on looks ;%
I just hope she is a damn good actress because she doesn't appeal to me in the slightest....I don't think she'll lose too much sleep over my comments though )
Maybe that French lady has a touch of Rebecca Hall* about her, who Mendes is meant to be dating. Remember how Kate Winslet might have got a role, when he was married to her? Well, that got kicked into touch.
* Seen here with none other than Gustav Graves in the excellent 1990s drama The Camomile Lawn:
Ahem! Not that I'm looking at that picture Officer, she looks like this now:
Though I'm not sure why he's wearing brown shoes with a black outfit ...... 8-)
He also made a few Bond comments in the short piece ...
He said: 'I never go near them. I'm badly criticised by my boys that I will not sit and watch them with them, but I just don't have any desire to see them.
'I find no nourishment in them. I don't find any comfort in watching them.'
He added: 'I'll cast my eye over them, but I have to move away and say, "Go ahead, boys. It's all yours."'
Though I'm not sure why he's wearing brown shoes with a black outfit ...... 8-)
Pierce is still cool. He can wear whatever color shoes he wants. He got away with a similar shoe/sock combination near the end of TWINE. I always thought he could make a really strong Bond film to equal one of Connery's films. Sadly, he never got the chance.

Wow Lexi, the above quote is music to my ears...
there is indeed nothing as exciting as unwrapping 'presents', slowly, meticulously, admiringly...
your assesment of this french beauty was dead on, and in fact she was obviously dolled up for the ladies, not us gents.
a HUGE stamp of approval from the second i catch her in the news conference.

As does this - BT will like all the shots of her covered in various food items...

Hey, that's so partypooping, Lex
who said that? I am a man

And now let's Paul chime in to give you the illusion, that he fancies candles, flowers and pink wrapping paper.
Don't believe him a single word :v

Keep going to the bottom of the article, past the beached whale, and you'll see brian's comment about his gran.... Bless... 8-)
Actuallly its great to see Brozza back in shape and happy....he looked like he'd was headed for obesity at one stage....
However, does the "I can't face bond anymore " quotes sound familiar?

No he can't. Looks horrid whoever does it .....
And without the jacket .....
For a guy who's nearly 60 I thinks he looks fine. At least he's sensible enough not to wear Speedos.
He looks better than Sir Rog did at that age and he was still playing Bond !!
That's an old pic lady rose... Check out the hair in the street walk pic... Much greyer...
This is an old pic and was what I was talking about when I said he'd conquered his belly....
He looks a lot slimmer now and in great shape for old age pensioner totty.... :007)
Well, quelle surprise, the dailymail.co.uk lies !!!! ) they said it was a couple of says after the leather jacket shot :v
