Just wondered what peoples favourite 'Bondian' moments are ? what I have in mind are the small things, not major set peices that really hit the spot.
Example- the look of playful satisfaction that Daniel gives the guy who mistook him for a parking attendent after trashing his car. This is to my mind superb and catches a real sense of the character.
And the tiny movement of the head by Pierce as he more or less ignores a bullett richotet close to his head in GE
And Lazenby pocketting the centrefold in OHMSS
And the Velcro fastening that enables Dalton's Bond to cover his white evening shirt in LD
Does anyone else treaure these or other small moments ?

That's really an excellent one, Markus...one of Sir Roger's finest moments. {[]
I really enjoyed Brozzer, in TND, downing shots of Smirnoff in his hotel room, with his PPK nearby and ready.
Lazenby throwing the knife at the calendar---pure undiluted Fleming B-)
The moment when we see 'Smiert Spionam' on the tag in TLD's PTS...
That split-second before the elevator fight between Bond and Peter Franks, in DAF...
The look on Craig's face, after he asks Mendel if he's brought any chocolates, and Mendel laughs.
Too many of these to mention... :007)

The all time great 'Bondian' moment has to be Sean Connery's introduction in Dr. No.

What I particularly like is how the line is delivered :

The noise of the lighter inbetween is a small thing that makes this moment memorable.
Brosnan brushing off the ricocheting bullets close to his head in GE was great.

"oh.. and the valet ticket..." and the way it's delivered...really rubbing the salt in the wound...Love it!
there are many more that I could add...but well you would get bored!
Bond flipping the car keys behind him after crashing the arrogent rich guy's car.
Brozzer ducking the bullets ever so slightly.
Brozzer's look of sad satisfaction during this exchange:
"For England, James?"
"No, For me"
Dalton's smug smirk when he fires the "need to know" line back in TLD

When bond breaks the fire alarm with his elbow in Thunderball.
Also in Thunderball when after searching lippi's room bond stops (which makes you think he's spotted something important) and goes and picks a grape.
In Casino Royale, the line when Bond sits to the poker table "mind if i join you (slight grin)"
That was a nice touch.

Bond pulling the silencer off his pistol in Dr. No after he shoots Professor Dent, the look on his face as he blows the smoke out of the silencer.
THE ALL TIME BEST MOMENT..... Bond strolls into the Cantina in Goldfinger, lights a cigarette and looks at his watch.

I have to agree with those - they are some of my favourite Bond moments too.
When Bond is in M's office and requires his assignment to be changed to Nassau because he saw Derval dead at Schrublands, the military officer utters a forceful "impossible".
M's line is a classic :
"If 007 says he saw Derval at Schrublands and he was dead, that's enough for me to initiate an inquiry"
This for me is a vital point in the M-Bond relationship. While M can be patronizing at times when Bond is alone in his office, M does not hesitate to step up and support his agent when he is challenged by another authority. Another example of this can eb found in MR when Frederick Gray asks M to put Bond off the case.
