James Bond Charity Day - I Need Your Help

Hi All

I would like some help from the creative and ingenious people that view the Memorabilia & Collecting Forum on this excellent website.

I work in a large contact/call centre for an international company. Arround the time of the release of Quantum of Solace, I am planning to arrange a James Bonded themed dress down day at work to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and was wondering if you could help me with some ideas for events/games for it. So far I've come up with the following:

James Bond themed fancy dress - Tux/Bond Girl Dresses (with qudos to any woman or man brave enough to wear a Ursula Andress style bikini in the middle of a British winter. Everyone would pay £1 to wear their own clothes instead of the usual office attire.

A movie quiz book for sale for £1 each including a 007 section. I thought about it just being a 007 quiz but thought the general movie quiz would appeal to more people. What do you think??

Maybe make some car shaped biscuits and sell them as Aston Martin Biscuits???

As you can see I only have the start of a few ideas here and if anyone could help me out in rasing money for this worthwile cause it would be greatly appreciated.

I chose this charity as my dad died last year of a heeart attack - and as that's also what Ian Fleming died of, and it being his centenary year - there were both personal and Bond related reasons for doing this.

Thanks in anticipation of your help and I look forward to hearing from you ladies and gentlemen soon.
"NEVER SAY NO TO ADVENTURES." Ian Fleming

    Good charity in my opinion.

Would the company you work help out? Maybe they woulds buy some prizes for a raffle or something?
Do you know anyone who owns an Aston Martin? Maybe do some passenger rides for a small fee.
Make sure there's a reason for people to dress up and judge the best dressed for a bottle of wine or somthing.

I was just at a charity event Bond themed ... last night

had an aston on display, a nice amount of my props on display, casino tables, Bond music, and dinner and a charity auction for donated prices...

The trick is to get a nice mix of prizes and items to auction...

I wish you the best of luck with it and I hope you raise a good amount for a Great charity ....
