Well it does look f*cking amazing. It's sad that we pay the full price but don't get the experience.

    Fascinating stuff.

Its frustrating, I love the fact that although Tom Ford is a modern fashion conscious clothes designer, he understands that classic tailoring is a timeless trait, - as demonstrated by the evening clothes he wears and sells.

Its just unfortunate that the clothes are way out of most men's price range. I mean £50 for a pair of socks? Almost £10,000 for an off the rack suit?! (I put the prices into a currency converter.) - For that kind of money I would have the better part of 20 tailor made 3 piece suits from my tailor!!

This is another point where in this day and age Bond's expense account is dangerous. Not only can it destroy the illusion of what he does professionally speaking, it makes the dream of living the Bond lifestyle seem as tenable as booking a holiday on Bajor!

Wouldn't a $3,500 US Tom Ford OTR suit work out to about 2,300 pounds? It's still an outrageous price to pay for a suit, but certainly much more reasonable than 10,000 pounds, or $15,300, which is absolute lunacy. Granted, I still think Tom Ford's prices are unreasonably high, but this is coming from a poor college student. Rumour has it that Daniel Craig's suits in QoS cost roughly $10,000 each, due to the special mohair tonic fabric that was used. Thank God for Magnoli Clothiers!

They were about 7000 USD for the mohair and cashmere fabric and about 3000 USD wool OTR. So with MTM, it might add up to 10 000 USD

Crap, I stand corrected, big time. - One too many zeros when I used the converter! The correct figs still equates to 4 three peice suits.
