Every interview i hear about QOS someone says "theres double the action than in Casino Royale" but am i the only one who thinks this is a bad thing?
I know they say that for every bond film pretty much to market it to the kids but i hope it's not true. Everytime they have a great bond film with a great plot and character the next one is over action. eg
OHMSS - DAF
FYEO - Octopussy
Goldeneye - TND
Who else shares this fear?

That having been said, I have admired Daniel Craig's work from at least as far back as "Our Friends in The North" (My all-time favourite T.V. Series) I know that he cares about the integrity of what he does & I can't see him being party to something which is just another brain dead action flick.
Lets hope so. Much as I admire Daniel for his derring-do I have always felt that Bond is revealed in the quiet moments e.g that great Hotel Room scene in TND (which I believe was recreated from an unused scene in LTK) or in the playing of Solitaire while waiting for Stranways in DN.I felt that CR over did the action to some extent, and worked best when well integrated e.g the superb Stairwell encounter which developed the Bond Vesper relationship at the same time as being truly 'kisk-ass'
I really hope that they have been that clever with it, but would be lying if I said I was not concerned by a short run time and claims of 'double the action' If they can pull that combination off it will be a masterpiece.
Not long to wait now...
