No surprise that they're already on eBay and they look nice. Here's the search string:

And if that doesn't work, http://www.ebay.com.my

I spoke to Shell UK about these cars and at the moment only available in Malaysia, but keep em peeled, I`m sure they will be available in the UK at sometime.

just for info, each car cost only 1 british pound. the large casing to put in all the 5 cars cost 10 british pounds.

I managed to pick up the entire set last night from the Shell roadshow currently being held at 'The Curve'.

The roadshow allows you to buy the entire set including the Aston Martin DBS which isn't generally available until Nov 6th... :)

I've posted a small write-up and photo of the entire set inside the 'spy attache case' on my blog : http://www.greghoyle.com/WP/?p=223

They look nice inside the case, but the cars themselves aren't the best quality ever.

    Hi.

Last night I managed to get all 5 of the Shell models from my local Shell station in the UK

They are the Sunbeam Alpine (Dr No) Aston Martin DB5 (Goldfinger) Lotus Esprit Submarine (TSWLM) BMW Z3 (Goldeneye) and Aston Martin DBS (QoS)

The good news is they were a bargain price - just £2.50 each of all 5 for £10! The detail on the models is average - but with the posters in the background, the little plastic display cases and for such pocket-money prices they're a nice little addition to any 007 collecton.

And one last thing - if your local Shell station does not have any posters up advertising them then please still go in and have look to see if they have them as there were no posters up outside the garage that I went to - but they were just on display on the counter when I went in

The Shell James Bond collectible cars are sold at Shell petrol stations nationwide, and tomorrow is the last day of availability so if you want them, get them quick!

I think this might be Malyasia Only though

I have not seen this publicized outside any Shell station here in New Zealand. I will have to go and take a gander today and see if we've got them or not...if so, I will pick them up for sure.

I have a full set and really, they're only worth having if you're an absolute compleatist (which I readily admit to being); the quality isn't that great. Scale is somewhere between Kyosho (the tiny ones) and Johnny Lightning. Frankly, the carrying case with the one side in acrylic is the best part!

Thanks for the information! I was thinking of getting a set, but if the quality is not that great, I'll just pass on getting it.

so, I went to a couple Shell stores today and the folks behind the tiller had no clue about what I said regarding Bond replica cars. Shame. Maybe there will be some left in the USA come February...I doubt it :#
