As far as EON's marketing strategy re QOS (and I'm sure SONY was very involved)...I think they have made a vow never to repeat the mistakes of LTK. I new it didn't bode well when I saw LTK on its opening weekend and it was only showing on one screen in one of the smaller auditoriums at the multiplex. It seemed like EON literally snuck it into theaters in the US. The idea that EON released QOS in Europe first because they thought they had a turkey on their hands is just silly. A Bond film (especially in this era of the internet) is just too big to hide if it's garbage. Reviews certainly have been mixed..but the "bottom" line is butts in the seats (sorry for the bad pun, guess I had a Purvis/Wade moment). And my butt will finally be in a seat to see QOS tommorow.

The numbers are very good, regardless of one's feelings about the film...
