Have received a very nice presskit today from Bollinger.
QoS features the "Grande Année 99" champagne and they have issued a bullet-shaped wine cooler for this occasion:
Price: GBP 2.500,-- 207 units limited.
The presskit also features details of all Bollinger champagnes in the 007 movies:
LALD: Bollinger ??
MR: R.D. 1969
Octopussy: R.D.
AVTAK: R.D. 75
TLD: R.D. 75
LTK: R.D. 79
GE: La Grande année 88
TND: La Grande Année 89
TWINE: La Grande Année 90
DAD: Bollinger 1961 & Grande Année 95
CR: La Grande Année 90
An interesting information has been for me, that R.D. stands for:
Récentement Dégorgé (recently degorged).

That means all of the silt from the neck has been recently removed prior to the final corking. Most decent champagnes are fermented in the bottle - punt up, and the silt and crap settle in the neck. This is then frozen and the bottle tapped to disgorge the crap, rather like the cork popping. The bottle is then topped up and finally corked.
This knowledge comes from drinking far too much, which is caused by having to be sloshed to trawl through your posts {[]
That's why I have been awarded by the industry recently...
I am not sure, if it's more, that you have been drinking too much from the mentioned crap, which is usually collected, frozen and then finally disgorged
