  As far as i know it is 7.62 calib.

  That's a rifle calibre. You mean 7.65mm, which is the same as .32.

  Thanks,Asp9mm.Mine is a 7.65mm early prewar version and for just plain shooting I prefer 7.65 over 9 short.It was a bit tempermental last time out, though.

  .380-9mm/k is geared more towards the States than in Europe.
  
  .380-9mm/k PP's and PPK's actually have a higher value in the 'book' than do 7.65mm models on this side of the Pond.
  
  Do not confuse this with American manufactured PPK/S's.
  
  And yes, 7.62mm is what my StG.58 fires.

  The PPK/S doesn't need to come into it, both the PPK and the 'S' model can fire both rounds.

  What I mean is the value of a 9mm/k chambered Walther manufactured PP or PPK in the States.
  
  Most imported to the States were 7.65mm before the ban on the PPK.
  
  I own all of the models and am well aware of what their chambering is.

  No, not really, but the bore is machined to fire a more generic blank round anyway, so does not have to be .32 or .380 specific anyway.

  Well, that makes sense,like the 5-in-1 blanks produced for Westerns.Is the procedure to make the chamber generic with a caliber-specific bore restricter?

  P.S. After seeing the movie, I noticed Craig always had the PPK's hammer back,and IIRC, Ian Fleming never once mentioned the PPK's double-action
  capability,but did,in DR NO, refer to the "light trigger pull".
