Baron really needs to bite the bullet and hire a professional photographer to photograph their products. The snapshots they post aren't flattering at all.

I whole heatedly agree. their pics don't convince me to purchase their products. i contacted them about trying to make a suit and never receieved any responses. have decided to stay with magnoli for my bond and custom fitting needs.

I passed on the shirt and tie and saved $100 through that. I'll probably order the suit in navy later this year.

Would have been nice to see their tie!

The TF suits used in QoS such as the one in Bolivia actually retails for $10,000

Does anyone else have any pics of Baron's Quantum Suit? I'm thinking of going in on one in midnight blue.

You can actually purchase an identical suit to that made by Calvin Klein that is sold at macys. It is a slim fit charcoal suit with a brown nailhead pattern which gives it that hint of brown. Exact same as the fabric used for the QoS suit. I picked up one on sale last month for $200. I can't find it online anymore but you may want to check your local macys to see if it is on the clearance rack. I also picked up the champagne tie from Magnoli and it all looks great.

I... don't think so. Just for the record, what's the fabric of yours?

If it is the one I am thinking of (the bolivia arrival suit which is on Baron's website as the Quantum of Solace suit), it is charcoal with a brown nailhead pattern.
Here are some pictures and links to a previous thread...

The real fabric was cashmere and mohair and the blend is TF exclusive.

So I was asking you what your fabric was made of. As for the pinpoint effect, it's not really the effect the real swatch has when you have it in hand.

well obviously it won't be the same fabric as the TF suit, but a cheap alternative..a little cheaper than Baron's version and it looks almost identical to the one in the movie. Fabric is mostly wool, about 15% nylon. I'm not quite sure what you are trying to argue here?

Don't tell me that it's the exact fabric if it's nothing like the real deal. That's misinformation. However, if you want to put pictures of your suit and its fabric, I'd be delighted to see them.

wow, excuse me. I meant the same fabric pattern and color. You really seem to take your James Bond suit specifications very seriously. Maybe if you spent a little less time being such a fanboy douche you might actually be able to get laid like James Bond too. Its a **** $200 Calvin Klein Suit, of course it isn't the same exact fabric material specs as the TF...any moron with half a brain would know what I was referring to in my sentence, no need to be so pompous about it. We all know your superior knowledge of James Bond suits and ties is much greater than ours, I praise you.

    Damn Canadians 8-)

I think just about everyone here takes their Bond suit specifications pretty seriously, that's part of the purpose of this forum. There is no need to jump down anyone's throat or call people names over someone being picky.

And while I don't know any Canadians personally, I hear good things.

    Toronto looks just lovely.

I would never judge. If for a suit to be brown is enough for you to call it QoS, who am I to judge. Chances are you'll be happier than me, me the so pompous and Canadian and not-laid-like-James-Bond picky moron.

Believe me, I'm not worth the fight, I'm such a moron. Thank you for your proposal of a brown suit anyway.

If you want to write me personnaly about your discovery, I can PM you my email.

OK. On that note, lets all stay friends here and get back on topic and not derail this thread. I'm not interested in a MACY'S SUIT. I WANT ONE TAILORED. My question again:

Who has purchased Baron Boutique's QOS suit and can weigh in on the quality of the suit? Pictures would be great on Baron's suit. Thanks.

I ordered the BB CR 3 piece and wasn’t entirely happy with the result, but it was my first online MTM experience and I think made a few errors in measurements. Quality wise I think BB is reasonable for the money and delivery was within the 14 days they state on their web site. I think key to getting a good result is accurate measurements, though the order was a good learning experience for me.
