Baron Boutique vs Indy Magnoli

Two Questions:

A. In general who has a better reputation for Bond Replica clothing. Baron Boutique or Indy Magnoli?

B. Hypothetical: Both Indy Magnoli and and Baron Boutique create a James Bond 3 piece Casino Royale Suit. Which do you choose?

PS-This hypo is actually true. Does anyone own both versions? Any opinion on which version came out better?

Depends on the garment in question. For ties and jackets, Indy is first class (I don't really think there's any dispute on that).

Suits is another matter. I think Baron has more experience in that regard, although I'm wary of their use of real movie stills to showcase some of their pieces instead of what they're actually producing. I think Indy has less experience making suits, and in some cases also isn't being provided enough detail from the person who wants the suit made. You can't get someone to make you a Brioni-like suit if you have no idea what type of details (noticeable and subtle) go into a good suit.

I am also looking to buy the Casino Royale three-piece suit from either of these so any advice is appreciated.

PK, so I have suits from both sources. I find the Indy suits a better quality, but the Baron ones seem to fit better, if that makes sense. Indy's cloth and details pop more and the lining and feel of his suits is true. Baron's seems a little off some how...

what do you mean by a little off?

The stitching on the Baron's and the lining and even how the shoulders fall just aren't precise...like it has been rushed or not cared for very well. Stray threads etc...

I was also planning on buying from Baron, although I wanted the QOS charcol suit they offer.
Mantis, since you have bought from both what would you recomend? Or put it another way, is the suit worth the money from Baron?

I have three suits from Baron. The CR linen suit is just OK. The color is the biggest problem with that one. The TWINE linen suit is good, but not perfect. The CR blue three piece is great. It seems this one was higher quality than the other two and they got all the details right. The quality of material and the tailoring can't be beat for the price they ask for this suit.
Mantis is right when he compliments the fit of the Baron suits. Overall I think they are a very good value but be aware that some details may be off. I would be careful of the QOS suit as the tailoring details are not listed as they are on their other suits. Without reading through them you can't be sure they got everything right.

since i have been interested in the QoS charcoal suit they offer i have been in email correspondance with them to sort out the details. I have pinpointed every minor detail and they seem to have all their stops covered. They were actually the source who told me that DC suits are three button with roll lapel not two button. Also, he said that in order for the suit to fit precisly like the TF you should have a tailor take your measurements and then select snug and the fit options. I haven't ordered this yet, have to wait for my xmas spending to cool over.

This is my first post but have been lurking here for some time.

I just thought that I would share that if you go to Barons site click on "pictures", under the description of the suit, it gives you a better look at the actual suit. The linen and 3 piece look quite bad. The shoulders look awful. I would be a little hesitant ordering these. The charcoal one doesnt look half bad...I was initially happy to find the 3 piece but after seing the picture was a little deterred.

Mantis maybe you can comment on the shoulders? Are they as bad as the pictures appear?

I hate to bring this back up, however, i just now have the funds to purchase a replica suit. Does the Baron CR 3 piece suit (worn at the end of Casino Royale) jacket have 2 or 3 pockets? The indy suit looks to have 3 but the baron looks to have 2? does it actually have 2 or am i just mising it?
