With just those two cast changes and the elimination of the "radioactive lint" scene you would have the perfect Bond film and the high mark against which all future Bond films would be measured--In my humble opinion.
Oh, and get rid of the ruffles on the tuxedo shirt.

LIVE AND DIE ANOTHER DAY
The gun barrel opens.
JAMES BOND parachutes to an island villa where he steals a microchip. Suprised by the enemy agent JACQUES BOUVARD, he kills him in a vicious fight. Bond escapes in a helicopter with the help of a beautiful French accomplice MISS CARUSO. The helicopter crashes and they make love in the palm trees, it isn't time to be recued yet.
MAIN TITLE THEME "OHMSS" WITH A TITLE SEQUENCE OF NAKED LADIES DANCING FROM MAURICE BINDER
HAI FAT introduces the SPECTRE plan at a meeting in Paris, BLOFELD is in attendence, but we dont see his face.
M assigns Bond to find out how a microchip from the ATLANTIS LABORATORY ended up in the hands of a suspected Spectre agent.
Bond travels to HONG KONG and MACAU where he meets his contact HENDERSON at the Pan Pacific Hotel and Casino. In the restaurant Henderson points out the inductrialist HAI FAT and his assistant FIONA VOLPE. Bond's table is bugged by Hai Fat who overhears their conversation.
Henderson is killed during the cabaret act. Bond chases the assassin to the top of the hotel, where the assassin base jumps to escape him. It is Fiona Volpe.
Back at his hotel, Bond is accosted by three thugs, who take him to the dockland area. Inside a warehouse, Bond fights the thugs. The fight is broken by ZUKOVSKY, who explains he has had his suspicions of Hai Fat's chemical company for some time.
Bond is teamed with fellow Russian agent ANYA AMASOVA. Together they infiltrate Hai Fat's HQ which is inside an hydroelectric dam. They find a cache of South African conflict diamonds. There is a gunbattle with guards and they escape using speedboats and blowing up their pursuers with spilt petrol.
Hai Fat and Fiona are called to meet Blofeld on Atlantis, where he is planning the launch of Spectre's space laser, MOONRAKER. Bond must be eliminated.
Fiona meets Bond and seduces him. He is drugged and captured. She ties him to a Turkish torture chair, but Bond is rescued by Anya, who kills Fiona with one shot.
Bond and Anya fly to South Africa where they are given a special LOTUS ESPRIT by Q. Their contact is Raul, a wine merchant. He knows the biggest supplier of conflict diamonds is ZORIN and sets up an invite for his weekend summer party at his chateau. Bond and Anya meet Zorin, and that evening they inflitrate his secret research centre. They find a laser, ready for transportation to ISTYMUS CITY. They are discovered by CHANG and MAYDAY and there is a fight, destroying much of the research centre.
The next day Zorin asks Bond and Anya to leave; the weekend is cancelled. As they leave there is a car chase and Bond's Lotus comes in handy with all its gadgets. The last car is driven by Zorin and he crashes it. Bond kicks his car over the precipice. Back at Raul's M and Zukovsky have secured an invite to the Atlantis Laboratory to meet the famous and reclusive marine biologist WILLARD WHYTE.
They fly to Istymus where the carnival is in full swing. A pair of mysterious knife wielding twins follow them, and there is a chase and a fight among the carnival procession. Afterwards, Bond and Anya make love on a carnival float.
NAOMI meets them and they travel to Atlantis, but it is only a ruse for Blofeld to capture them. Whyte has been killed by Spectre and his company has provided a perfect cover. For his failure to kill Bond Hai Fat is killed in Blofeld's piranha fish pool. Blofeld offers an extravagent dinner, during which he outlines his plan to ransome the world with his laser. Bond and Anya are drugged.
Bond escapes from his prison cell through the ventilation shafts and rescues Anya, who is about to be dunked in the pool full of piranhas. They reach the nerve centre of operations and destroy the laser control equipment, rendering it useless. Naomi is killed by Anya, but Blofeld escapes. Atlantis starts to explode, but Bond and Anya float clear on the wreckage.
The local coast guard drops inflatible dingys. Bond and Anya climb into one and make love.

James Bond will return in FROM RUSSIA WITH DIAMONDS
Daniel Craig as Bond in a Bond film titled "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Have as the villain the head of Quantum, whoever that may be. and Tracy played by the beautiful Rachel Stirling, real life daughter of Diana Rigg.
I know that the producers were adamant in their stance that they would never do remakes, but they might change their minds in a few years. You never know....
My ultimate Bond film would be Moonraker done by the book. Love the book and wish we could have it done with Quantum.
