Nice find, Alex. Richardson may have been an interesting Bond.

Wow that was an awsome find I especially like the portrait of the bond finalists. The whole Bond franchise could have been so different if one of the guys was chosen.

Of course knowing who was picked may influence judgement, but from the shots alone Lazenby stands out a mile for me as having that something that sets him apart.

I love the shot of actress Agneta Eckemyr. Is that Hunt in the bottom corner, ahem, adjusting her hem?

    And France Anglade, yowza! :x

Napoleon, try typing james bond source:life into google. See if that works.

Agneta Eckemyr would have been something... 8-)
Am I the only one who thought for a second, that this was Tim Dalton on that pic?
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

the best choice of them all was Lazenby although I do like a few of the others... i really do wish Lazenby did a few more films, he was an excellent Bond.... possibly my favorite... But its difficult to choose a favorite... so I rank all of teh Bonds on a Par with each other...

the one film aspect anoys me....

Daniel Craig had only done one film Casino Royale and after it there was loads of people proclaiming him to be the best Bond yet ...

So if that is allowed then we can judge and compare Lazenby on the one film ... and rank him fairly instead on the 1 film aspect ...

As I say i wish he did DAF and possibly LALD and TMWTGG possibly but I do love ROger Moore... so maybe it was a good thing he left I dont know if he stayed on we may never have had Roger as Bond and Roger is Outstanding also...

I would have been happy with Moore coming in for TSWLM ...

but the films may never have panned out and been produced in the order they were if the actor was different.. who knows.

I don't think he was moved at all.

John Richardson seems to have the right look. Don't remember ever seeing him in anything.

Based purely on looks you can see why they picked Lazenby. Definity has the Bond look.

John Richardson played the hero in Mario Bava's Black Sunday, one of the best gothic horrors of all time. He also plays lead hunk in Hammer's She with Ursula Andress, and One Million Years B.C., that's the one with furry britches Raquel Welch. :)

He has a twinkle in his eye that gives him the right dichotomy to be Bond - playful but deadly. The others just look like a lot of Gloomy Guses.

    Neat find, Alex!

Richardson nor Rogers would've ever suited the part, especially with Rogers hair...sheesh check that poof out! :o

    Campbell possibly.

Lazenby - for sure. They made the right choice indeed.

I love Lazenby, I love OHMSS and although disappointed he never did another, I am happy with what I get. :)
