    Not as inspired as Lindy Hemming's designs, eh. :007) The blue one would make a nice tie for a formal occasion though.

    Nice! Any close-ups to help make out patterns and colors better? It looks like the 1st is more of a navy/white pindot, the 2nd the diagonal champagne crossweave, but possibly with another design or 3rd color incorporated, the 3rd a regular blue basketweave with a bit of shimmer to it, and the 4th a black/silver pattern.

    TF ties go for about $215 and I dont have any close up's I'm affraid!

    Part of my reason for posting, I was not 100% convinced on the first one. The dots are diagonal and the dots on the pictures I have seem to be horizontal.

    If you ask me the London tie is the same as the party tie just gray.

    I can't get over how much I like that champagne tie! Love it. However, $215 is a little stiff for me :) I think I will stick with cheaper versions.

    They're only available at the TF store in NYC and select Neiman Marcus locations in the US (Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, and San Francisco), as well as The Webster in Miami Beach, Bergdorf Goodman in NYC, and Mario S in Seattle. That's one reason why getting style numbers is a good thing. When I went to the N-M stores in Vegas and SF, the sales people told me that they can sell TF items over the phone and then ship them.

    EDIT: Also, I'm sure you could call the TF store in NYC and ask for the style numbers of the QoS ties. Like Turnbull & Asser did with the previous Bond movies, the TF staff probably have that info on hand at this point.

    oh ok. good call with the style numbers then Roikins.
    $215 is steep, but the look has proven to be very difficult to match perfectly as I have seemingly looked for ties as close as i can find only to no avail. most of the close patterns are a shade off, or are too shiny/silky and just dont look right.
    i guess i'll have to man up and pay the price. good work so far guys...and sruzgar im definetly jealous

    You have to call Tom Ford stores. I got the last light blue QoS tie a month ago. They told me they are from his old line and are sold out of the other Qos ties.

    Don't worry, it says they're getting more in stock and you can order now for late Feb. delivery.

    Been looking at the site for a while. You have rearly helped me track down a number of items and got THE LOOK on track; your dedication is amazing

    I have a question re. the QOS champagne tie. I have just recived the Tom Ford tie from the milan store, the staff were very helpful by the way, the tie is fantastic, and looks to be the same as the tie pictured on this link..BUT..as i look at magazine pics, and the film of dc wearing the tie, the colour seems off. I realize that lighting is a factor, but at times the tie REARLY looks silver, at other times it seems bronze. As the suit is dark grey, doesnt it make sense for the tie to be silver'ish? I may be wrong...what do you guys think.
    BTW./ Check out the Hugo Boss site here in the UK, they have a great slim fit dark grey suit for £399. I have just recived mine, took it to the taliors and had the jacket nipped in at the waist and the trousers shortened...got to say it looks darn close to the QOS suit.

    Sorry PJ but i dont have the TEQ. to do that. You could ask the Tom Ford store in Milan to send the pix of the five ties they have in stock, ask for Palo. One thing im sure of now, i have the wrong one! The one i have is too light.
    Its driving me nuts...The pix they have just sent me have the two most likely candidates...either Silver, or a more gold/bronze colour. Which, based on the movie, do you think the right coloured tie is?

    Don't get the Tie Warehouse Silver Glitter Pindot. The silver is way to glittery; it should be more muted.

    Hello Again.

    Just been on the phone for thirty minutes with the Tom Ford store in Milan.
    I think that Srugar has it right, But I think I was wrong using the term champagne to describe the colour of the tie. The sales person, Paolo, describes the tie as ALMOST grey/green. I know that sounds very wrong, and to be fair he is trying hard to get the discription correct in English, but looking at the pix of the five ties he e-mailed to me, and then zooming in very close, I think he has it right.

    Its very hard to see the colour of the tie in the film, one moment it looks champagne, the next almost grey.

    Anyway, I am ordering the tie today, plus the blue one from the greene party. I will let you know how it all comes out when they arrive.

    Meant to post on this as well, looks like white dots on the site but in reality it is very glittery. It was delivered to my office and my colleagues are still taking the p**s 1 week on !
