    Why is there a 'Happy Christmas' thread in addition to the 'Merry Christmas' Thread?

    Is there a difference in Merry and Happy and are we not wishing to offend members of either camp?

    I had a very good day, but wasn't sure if it was merry or happy, or somewhere between the two, actually it was wonderful'.
