    Very cool. I've seen your website before. I congratulate you on this effort. Can't wait to see it finished. Good luck with it.

    This boat was owned by the Laite family in Lancaster, MA since they bought it new in 1972. It was a family boat but it is the EXACT year, make, model and color of the movie jump boat.

    I bought it from them this fall and have been restoring it since.

    Wow, not many of them have been documented he should get in touch with the Ian Flemming Foundation they are trying to track down all the boats from the movie.

    I would be interested in any info he has on an original movie boat.

    I have a number of colour slides of the filming of the river speedboat chase, road jump and police car pile up. A number of different boats are seen. Some are taken from the film crew boat, showing the film crew filming Roger Moore a few feet away in his boat (moving at speed).

    I was wondering what to do with these, since I've had them since being developed after the day of the shoot. They are all unique and would never have been seen before.

    I have one of the UK Glastron boats - it was used for publicity shots and supposedly located at the UK premiere and hired by Odeon group and was definately on display in Manchester during the films release. I have a picture of Roger Moore in the boat and some behind the scenes studio shots. The seats were taken out years ago and lost in storage. It had scaffold poles in to mount a centre seat. The dash has a cut out and had the wheel moved but this is back to the right. The engine was a dummy and was incorrect but was painted the same as the evinrude as there was no same motor in the UK at the time. It is full of water now and one day I will get this looking good, probably as a two seater to be used.

    LALD has to be my favourite Bond film, I say that as it was my introduction to Bond :007)

    To hear that that one of the Boats is full of water is a great shame, but wish you luck in your restoration -{
